I finally met 'Lakota'

Had Gabriels class shirt here that they wear on fridays so when I got off of work yesterday I took it over to them.....Lee was outside with all but Jonah and Lakota......Kasey was laying down she has that stomach virus that is going around big time here.....Oh my gosh Lakota is just a tiny little boy with a head full of black hair long black hair...i will try and get pics next week going to see if she will start letting the other 2 girls get used to me so she can have a break and get some house stuff done....and no I didn' t even have my camera with me...I know holding my head down in shame....Stacy

I'm so hoping that this "Family" stuff keeps moving in a positive direction..it's SOOOO beyond time for that Stacy!!

Nell, First let me say that it's GREAT to have you posting again. You were missed during the loooooog winter. While I certainly have a LOT of "unknowns" in my garden, for the most part I enjoy having the "named" varities. Which is why I mainly shop at local nurseries or order from reputable catalogs. (not ALWAYS a sure thing, as Annette says!) I have had pretty good luck buying perennials at the homeimprovement type stores EARLY in the spring, before they are too beat up or buggy. I try to get something with a blossom on it to help confirm that I'm buying the name on the pot. You bring up a very good point about mis-labeling in the local plant sales too. I will add seed-swaps to the list where the offspring may not be like the parent plant. "You pays your money, and you takes your chances". The bottom line is that you usually get what you pay for and if you're looking for a certain plant of a certain variety, your best bet is to pay extra and go to the reputable source. Stacy, I hope they determine what is going on. I remember a while back you showing photos of all Kasey's beautiful kids and commenting on how different Lakota looked from his siblings. Hey Patti and jasdip, thanks. It is not the OK air, LOL. I stay very active I guess, I'm a lucky one, I've never had a weight problem. If I had fatter cheecks it would be nice, maybe my wrinkles would fill in. Hehe

Thanks guys...Lee was "okay" mumbling under his breath but I can deal with that.....I am kinda mad today because they only have 1 cell phone and Lee is the "holder" and he didn't tell Kase I called....but that is okay I just had some stuff for them and can give it to themm tomorrow...as i am whopped today anyways.....Lets just keep on Praying I get these babies in my life alllllllll the time now......Lakota and Jonah look just alike...and my neighbor swers I look more like Jonah then I ever did Gabbe? Who knows as long as they look some like me LOl Stacy

Isn't it just amazing how teeny tiny those babies are?

That is wonderful news Stacy that little Lakota is home.Just take it slow and easy and you'll be on your way to a wonderful relationship with those grandbabies. You are a kind and loving grandma.
