Thanks so much for all your good wishes! This year will be a small celebration because last year's was such a big one. It really went on for months! The problem with my birthday is that it always comes during the World Series, a real conflict for Norm. And since his birthday is tomorrow I usually have to acced to his wish to watch the game. Luckily today is a travel day so we get to go out to dinner with friends.

Anele...with all you have going on I am so pleased you found this thread and sent your wishes. Thank you ! DH is a special guy. If it weren't for him I know I wouldn't be meditating and that has led to so much more as far as my piece of mind....which he then benefits from. A win/win situation for sure. I am so glad to hear from you and look forward to news of the new little girl when she arrives. c

It's not too late, I made it. I hope your birthday is perfect and that you get everything you want, no matter how unreasonable. LOL Not that any of us would be unreasonable.....

Oops, I missed it yesterday. Here's hoping you had a wonderful Birthday and got to do everything you wanted to do, and of course, eat everything you wanted to, also!

Thanks so much all of you. I have been having computer problems for months so my visits have been irregular. I switched to a new Mac and I love it but there is a learning curve! And the new Mac didn't help too much with the wirelesss network problems. (We are on our 3rd router.) Too much traffic around here.

I actually spent my birthday very happily baking all day, something I don't allow my self to do very often. Unfortunately, it was for the reception after the funeral of our dear friends father. I did go out to dinner with family including my mother and brother who are visiting from Iowa.

Today was Norm's birthday. after the funeral and reception we went into the city for a Commonwealth Club panel of political talking heads from the NY Review of Books, his choice, but very good. Thursday we leave for a visit with friends in NJ and a week in Rome. We voted last week, so please don't send me that message that the election result is all my fault! I've gotten it 7 times already and I ALWAYS vote. (Stocked up on campaign buttons to hand out to the Italians.)

WOW...I hope you have a great time in Rome! Sorry to hear there's a funeral in the mix though.

Good to hear from you, get that computer figured out. I've been checking this thread hoping you would reply.

Yes I'm also glad to hear from you Janet and good to know that you're busy and will be going off on a nice little Roman holiday.
Sorry about the funeral.

My granddaughter has just recently bought a new Mac for her studies and I can see how you will enjoy such a super computer.
They are awesome! Hope you come back here often to join us.
