But there is a super free little windows power toy you can go get from the microsoft power toys site called Image Resizer This PowerToy enables you to resize one or many image files with a right-click It is wonderful! you just right click on the picture and select resize and you get a box you can pick sizes from or set up a custom size. I don't know of any software on the market, but you should look into creating the interface he's looking for yourself. The hospital I work at now has an online job database that the HR staff can add, edit and delete jobs from without talking to me. You just create forms like the forum ones and have the information store in a database. The fun part is error checking. Oh yeah... lots of fun. I have played around a bit with some of the free online pattern makers (check out knittingfiend's). I can figure out how to use the pattern generator, but I'm not sure that what I end up with is necessarily more useful to me than what I could figure out on my own. I don't know if the types you pay for would give you something more helpful or not. I'd be more likely to find a pattern with a collar that you like and a pattern with the rest of the sweater you like and ask some knitters for advice on splicing them together. I need written instructions (I can't do charts, I can't wing it, I need it spelled out for me) so if I have to meddle with a pattern, I tend to rewrite it before I actually do any knitting. I found a site that sells a pattern for a raglan style cardigan with a shawl collar. But they use a superchunky yarn, so you may need to do adjustment for the gauge of the Cashsoft. I don't know about HGTV's but Better Homes and Garden's Powerful Home Design Software is awesome. My friend used it to design their home and then loaned it to me to work on our remodel. I love it! Both builders that we contacted to do our work were really impressed with the plans. Here I am even able to use the plans to get permits without paying hefty fees that a contractor/builder would do. It is an easy program to learn too. Hope this helps!
