I almost got Carded~~~~

at the senior center LOL!! I went to join today to take some yoga classes and the gal says hmmm you have to be at least 55 to join:) I love her I want her for my new bestest friend~~~I will be 60 in Oct:)

I have pale skin and I moisturize it twice a day the wrinkles are many so I guess that works:) OR maybe she did not have her glasses on.

WOW! It is $12 to join and the yoga classes are free at the community college?? What a deal I thought they would be low cost but not free. I need to see now if it is full??

Lunchlady who is feeling good:) I took myself to Nordstrom's Cafe for lunch~~~since I am 'Young At Heart'~~that is what they call some of the exercise classes.

Who else goes to their Senior centers and what do you do there???

Ours has changed hours :o) so by the time I get out of water aerobics, get dressed, all their doings is over and done with. boooooo!

Been on a few cruises with the senior centers.

When their previous director left, they have not found one that is nearly as good as that one.

They DID have line dancing classes one day, and end of week had live music and line dancing. T'was fun!
Lots of card games, Mexican dominoes, etc.

One year, 4 couples married, who met at the center. All had lost their spouses.

Marie, you can't tell me you aren't talented enough to start from scratch, if you can embellish a store bought card! I can make them with rubber stamps, but not embellish store bought! You don't have to be talented to make them from scratch! It could be as simple as white card stock cut in half then folded in half, with one rubber stamp and colored ink out side, a Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays stamp on the inside and sign your name! Is there somewher you can take a beginning rubber stamp class? Tami

I didn't ask, but if I had to guess, around $250. Not actually sure about the santo figure; whether that was hand carved or what, which may affect the price aren't we glad we no longer have to chop wood carry water?

Okay, allow me to clarify. If I go to the store, I have to drive there. You are required to have your driver's license anytime you are driving. If you have a credit card or debit card, the store can request your id to confirm it is your card, which I've also been asked for before and always provided. Artemis- leaving your purse in your car or any other valuables is a really bad idea, strongly discouraged by law enforcement. It's a good way to get your things stolen.
