Ahhh, you forgot the forget me nots:) The volunteer violas. They're still out there struggling in the heat, it's 106 again today. I'll do that though to get it to spread more in the spring, my own seeds..I think it'll all germinate on it's own though with fall and the breeze blowing the seeds all through there. Well maybe that's all the cost of the seeds was, I thought it was a lot for a few seeds. Actually on the soil it's a lot to do with the mulch I put out several inches thick. Instead of encouraging all the weeds, it's working down pretty well with the clay soil. I hope I can afford to buy some more in Oct for winter. That and I need some stepping stones through out the large garden. Nothing fancy, just some bricks. I think that will be my craft this fall/winter is making some of my own. I still have a few daylilies blooming here and there. I need to find out which they are and get some more of these repeat bloomers. I'm afraid to walk into Lowe's, at 106 there is nothing I can do right now. I'm having a tough time with what I have now in pots I don't need temptation, I'd be as tempted as Pat:)

What you wrote is possible if the original deal(contract/verbal agreement) so specifies and is honored by both parties. Often that does not happen because the concept was never discussed, either or both sides reneged, or very little unforeseen complications arise. I always made it clear I could not be sure of what was behind a wall, under a floor, or above a ceiling. More than once, I removed part of a floor to find the foundation was unsafe. That became a job beyond my capabilities at that point, so I either came back after the problem was fixed or lost the job. Either way, it screwed up my schedule and cost me money. There simply is no way to reliably bid a remodeling job and have the job go as planned. And, when the inevitable happens, it is usually the remodeler who looses, unless they overcharge the owner. That is why I never bid materials. Prices could---and did---change daily.

This is one nice rental. We have a asymmetrical wall with a fireplace and a surround. My DH and I go round and round. I like the traditional surround and he does not. It turns out our fireplace is low clearance. What we both do not like is the 12 inch square around it. If a mantle is placed, it has to be a certain depth and height. Marble was there, wish our black tile was not there. We have considered placing the marble porcelain tile from the bath. We will have to make a decision soon cuz new flooring in the 1st level.

Cory...I have always found pleasure in knowing you, I wish I have been around for you more than I have been all you have been through but just know how much I care and think of you often, You have always been one of my favorites here and I will always be fond of you..You have a heart of gold, so kind and loving and so thoughtful. Devsense..I had some pumice left from a local Bonsai Shop here. I can get it anytime..I am considering getting some of the pumice from that thread I told you about..They ship it free. I have pebbles and fake turf on the ground pf my greenhouse...I did that for many reasons, but also to be able to dig holes and plant what I want in there...I mixes my native soil, cow manure, peat and pumice and just planted..They see to thrive like that. Limeadelemon, I am not sure..Did I even spell it right? lol I hear it is very sweet! Steve, that Meyer would be over 10 feel tall if I did not have to cut it back so many times..I had to cut it back yesterday 2 feet shorter..I hate that. But it's becoming a thick trunk with a full canopy at 5 feet high.
