I will. That is a great story. This is a new remake with Phylicia Rashad and Sean Combs. Don't know if it can compare with the old one, but we'll see. Sidney Poitier is hard to beat. I happened to catch Guess Who's Coming to Dinner last night.
I'm poised and it is just starting. Recording it, too. The one I am most looking forward to is Phylicia. She is so great, and I loved the previews I've seen. Gonna give Sean "Puffy" Combs a chance but like you said, Poitier is a hard act to follow.
She didn't look anything like this on Oprah last week. She looked great. I don't know which one was the better makeup job. She also wasn't this heavy though she has gained some weight. She is 60 years old.
I had a phone call from a friend at about 7:15. She and I can spend an hour or more on the phone sometimes. I very quickly told her I just got out of the shower, all I had on was a robe, my hair was wet and I was waiting for the movie and for her to watch it, "Talk to you later. Bye." Nothing was going to keep me from seeing the movie. Because of my age I can so relate to that era.
I think I was a little thrown off by John Stamos. Just didn't quite fit. (He can't help being so cute!)
Yes, it was GREAT, and I hope we will be seeing more quality programming on TV in the future.
