I don't know if this will help since I'm not familiar with Tim Horton's, but where I drink lattes you have a choice of one-shot or two-shots (of espresso, I think). And maybe some people ask for more shots; I don't know. I don't like strong coffee either, and I always order one shot (decaf, with plain soymilk foam). I love lattes!

I am wanting to do a trade. I would LOVE to try your: SOLAR FLARE variety and only need about 5 seeds. I have these varieties that I did not notice on your list: Burgess Lemon (only 5 seeds from Wintersown and several years old) Hovarth (only 2 seeds left from Wintersown and several year old) Peacevine Cherry (10 seeds from Kenyon Organics, probably 2 years old) God Love (5 seeds from Kenyon Organics, probably 2 years old) Abe Lincoln (about 10 from Livingston Seed Co, less than year old) San Marzano (about 10 from Organic Ferry-Morse, less that year old) I am rather new to this forum and unsure how to proceed. Is there a way you can message me to exchange addresses? I can send a SASE.

Anyone planning to camp at MTPS?

That would be awesome. I'm trying to borrow one. Might be able to from someone at work. Dunno though...I do have one plant i'm taking to the MTPS that is one of the 5 "Monster Cherry Tomato" plants I'm growing this year. They are the plants i'm most proud of this year & the best tomato plant i've grown in a while. I'd be happy to give it to anyone who'd loan me a tent & sleeping bag. =) It towering over 2 of the other tomato plants i'm bringing to the swap. It was planted 8 days after them, March 11th. Peace - Steve

Hi cynic, I don't know whether the quality of the drink at Slack-mac's up here is same as down south - but up here, Timmys is **much** better. Up here, Timmy's beats Wendys, who own them, as well - and a guy at a Wendys told us that they don't use the same coffee as Timmys. Wendys is about to spin Timmys off, we hear - don't know why, as much of their profit comes from Timmys. The Burger Boys' stuff can't touch what Timmys makes, either. Three or four years ago, when daughter'd been in AZ working for a while, she was flying to Edmonton to attend her cousin's grad as nurse. I was to drive out from here - through northern MN, by the way - and daughter emailed to ask Aunt Fran if they had Tim Hortons in Edmonton (they did). If not, I was to get her a couple of cans to bring from London to Edmonton, so she could take them back in her baggage to AZ. Three times over the border. She's back here now - came back over 2 years ago to care for her mother, ill with colon cancer. Ironic - as head of food service in a major psych. hosp for 20 years, she'd fed probably a couple of million people or more. She retired early, when there was discussion of closing her hosp. or another 20 miles away. When she died, kids said in the ordinary course, she'd have retired about a year before her death - and I said that she'd have been ill for well over half of that year. As it was, she had 10 years to pursue hobbies, travel south for a few months every winter, and enjoy life: have a ball. We have a Williams Coffee Bar up here, as well - but their coffee not as good as Timmy's, I figure. Enjoy your drinks - but if you drink too much, don't drive. For us seniors - that goes for coffee, as well. Like they used to say about beer- you can't buy it ... ... just rent it. Have a great week. ole joyful

tim hortons isn't quite like starbucks..more on the line of dunkin donuts, but they do have breakfast sandwiches, and you can get things for lunch or light dinner...the one claim to fame is the "marked" coffee pot..with the time it was brewed...they toss if not used in a certain time frame...

I do miss the Tim Hortons sandwiches, soup, etc --wish they would build some here in the lower 48

I love Tim Hortons-best coffee I ever tasted. Have one right near my late Mom's house. I'd always stop there when I visited her. I think there is one at Penn Station in NYC. I know for sure there is NOT one anywhere on Long Island.

After a meeting of a group which I attend, when several of us go to an after-meeting at Mickey D's, I used to order hot choc. ... then they didn't have it any more ... and I didn't like their coffee: some used to say that it'd need upgrading to be considered proper dishwater.

But - recently Mickey's has made a major upgrade ... and some say that Timmy's has slipped ... so that now some say that they like Mickey's better than Timmy's!

Imagine!

What'll happen next!

Yep, I don't drink coffee, but all of my work friends switched to McDonal's coffe a few months ago. They all like it better. I think they sell lattes now too.

McDonald's coffee is good! I don't like Timmie's at all. It's very inconsistent.
