I thought you all would be interested in this article in this morning's New York Times, about the editor of Town & Country, and the classic mid-century glass house in Connecticut that he renovated with his family, only to have it burn to the ground. They lost everything. This is about how they rebuilt it, and their lives, after several years of terrible losses.

It's also a fine example of mixing modern style with charm and comfort, and making it work for them.
