Bonus Byproduct of Annie's Salsa

This summer/fall I made many, many jars of Annies Salsa as I have for a few years now. The tomatoes this year seemed a lot juicier than years past, so before I put it in the jars, I let it sit in a strainer for a few minutes. I canned the salsa and tasted the "juice." It was much too tasty to dump, so I froze it in one quart containers. Yesterday I made soup with black beans, a couple of small smoked turkey legs and my "salsa juice." It was wonderful, great depth of flavour. Just thought I'd share.
