I am so behind with my pictures, I don't even have my Thanksgiving ones done yet.

But these are some of the last ones I did.

We went to visit my mom, Liv loved Mom's mirror, it was full-length, so she could admire herself.

Some more stuff. One bloom on my small 'Cameo' Quince. Perfect form. 'Alba' Redbud. Not a prolific bloomer, but very nice next to it's species brethren. Seedling of 'Crimson King' Norway maple. Was just a neglected stick for years, but glad I never cut it down. Was a very deep burgundy last year, seems to not be as deep this year. Will stay this color all summer, with just a slight greening of the leaf centers. 9-10 ft. this year. 'Shimanishiki' Japanese Tree Peony. Has 3! buds this year. First to open (not quite fully). 'Ryusen' Acer palmatum. Great lemon-lime effect with new growth on old. 'Albospica' Sequoia Sempervirens. Not a great pic of the cream-white new growth. Cercis Racemosa. Had the hardest time finding this one. No flowers this year, and foliage is ho-hum. I'll wait very impatiently for its first bloom.Seedling of Dawn Redwood. Transplanted last year from a nearby grove. Looks like it lost the leader this winter, but that won't hamper this vigorous beast. The nursery I bought this from called it a 'Shooting Star' Japanese Umbrella Pine, but I'm pretty sure it is the same as 'Sternshnuppe'. A bit pricey for this 2yr graft, but worth it. About to put out its new growth this year.

Neil - that is quite the set! And what a deal you got on it! $150 off, nice job! However, I wouldn't know what to do with all those attachments! Although I am sure I could find something. As for the drill bits, Rina is correct, they are specialty bits. I actually found mine back by where they sell tile, not by the drill stuff. And mine is like the first picture, not the second. Its circular with a hole in the middle. I keep water on it while drilling, and gentle pressure. You have to be patient! Also, I think the water may be the cause of my drill giving out on me. The chuck was stuck. I could not get it to move for nothing! I tried CLR (I noticed some rust inside of it). I also tried WD40. I could've just replaced the chuck but I couldn't get the hex screw driver down the middle. The chuck was stuck with a bit in it. :-( And MsGreenFinger - thank you for the information! I tried a taste of it alone, and I did not like it!!! So I don't know if I would like anything with just sage (e.g. tea, mouthwash, etc.) but I am going to try it on some pork soon, and maybe even some chicken. :-) Deva
