What's for dinner Thursday?

Well look at me, still spunky at 5:00 p.m.! I'm just having Stouffer's again tonight. This time spaghetti and meatballs. I looked through the freezer this afternoon and have some actual food I made for dinner tomorrow. It's thawing in the frig.

It's been overcast and rainy all afternoon. Cold front coming through but not a bad one. High tomorrow 66, which I'm sure a lot of you would be happy to see.

Tomorrow's TGIF. Do you have weekend plans? What's for dinner tonight at your house?

We had a cold day again, but no snow!
I made Pasta Puttanesca, it's quick and so delicious!

Cold here, this morning it was 20 & did not get past 26 all day. We have not seen the sun since Sat, just clouds all day.

Tonight hubby had BLT's & I had some bacon.

Patti, I did not know what kind of Dr I was going to either. My Dr had to explain to me. My knee has its moments. My surgeon told me because of the 2 surgeries back to back it will take longer to heal. I try not to think of it so the knee is good. Thanks for asking.

Lots of variety for dinner this evening! Shirley, I love days that have no interruptions. Even days that I plan to stay home and get caught up on things, there are usually reasons to head out or someone comes over. Stuffed peppers sure sound good! Pam a BLT is good anytime. That's usually what hubby orders when we go out for breakfast (he doesn't do eggs) Angela we had corn on the cob on the weekend and nuked it with the husks on. Have you tried that? OF we were in a store today and the Halloween stuff was out along with back-to-school supplies. Rhizo, I love the sound of your dinner every time you have that! B.e. peas I doubt I would like but that would be easy to leave out. I remember you said once it was a mix that you buy. Phyllis, eating frozen grapes made me smile, then I saw the radish sandwich. I feel sorry for you LOL. Maybe we should all send you a bit of our dinners, and you'd have a feast! KIttiemom, everytime I see you having shrimp scampi I want it. But we never buy shrimp. I'm going to have to just buy a bag of frozen ones once and for all and make it. :)

Soft foods...yuck!!! I had sinus surgery last Friday and still can't do any chewing for another week. I am sick of yogurt, broth, mashed potatoes, oatmeal, etc... My dream meal for tonight is a crusty sourdough baguette slice topped with olive tapenade. My entree will be a steak with sautÃÂ©ed mushrooms and a ceasar salad and more crusty bread! A big peanut butter cookie for dessert!

Same as yesterday -- Various snacks, cheeses, hors d'oeuvres, mini sandwiches, chocolate-dipped fruits, and brownies at a Christmas party. Yesterday was a retirement party for the head of the University Library where I work, today was a shindig put on by a large realty firm at which friends of ours work.

Mimipadv......we always find that the pineapples get sweeter when we leave them on the counter for a couple of days. When they start to smell like a pineapple we cut it open. Your pork chop dinner sounds delicious. It was cold enough that I was wanting a beef roast. Party, today was definitely chili weather in your area and ours (and Gadgets') Pam what a treat, having filet mignon!! Good for you! Rhizo, I have the urge for quinoa tabbuleh and your dinner confirmed my taste buds wanting that. That's a summer dish for me. Gadgets your chicken and potato wedges sounds good to me too!

Patti, are you gaining any weight back? I would gladly donate some of mine. Tonight was supposed to be chicken soup with a grilled cheese and bacon sandwich but I skipped the soup. We had a foot of snow yesterday. It was beautiful but I didn't have to go out. Today was a cold, but bright sunny day. Fortunately the roads were all cleared off because I had to take my sister to the next town for an appointment.

I had chicken noodle alfredo, and sweet potato. Since I'd also made cracker dressing, I had a very small amount of it.

For several years when I was working myself half to death that my side by side freezer was almost nothing but Stouffer's. A coworker would let me know when they were on sale.

Hi, Patti! I've got a lasagna in the oven. I make mine with Italian sausage, onions and green pepper cooked into the sauce, and lots of ricotta. Yummo. It's just starting to smell good.

Ham salad, baked butternut squash, 7Up biscuit, and strawberry shortcake, the latter using Pixiestix's hot milk cake recipe.

It was really sunny all day but cold. Mostly just did odds and ends today around the house. I am glad to see you seem to be getting your appetite back. Supper here was fried fish, cream style corn, cottage cheese, baked potato, he had cornbread and I had coleslaw.

Chicken with mushroom gravy over homemade pasta and some green beans with bacon and onion.
It rained 3/4 th of an inch here today.
Whoopee!
The total for the year so far is about an inch and a quarter.....way below what is needed. Last year was a very dry year, also.
