Dr Phil today....Thursday

Did anyone see the Dr Phil show today? That man was so bizarre, cold and scarry. He claimed to be a Dr, dying of cancer and his wife was sexually molesting her 12 yr old son. They took lie detector tests and she passed hers and he failed his. It wasn't just those tests, it was his demeanor, that wass odd.

I had to be gone when it was on today, taped it, and just now finished watching. Bizarre is a good description.

There was a case against the head guy where I used to work. He was so arrogant and cocky about how the case would never be proven...he was innocent, etc. During hearings, he kept saying things like "I'm innocent, give me a lie detector test and I'll prove it". Well lawyers on the other side had had enough of him so finally said 'yes, and if you pass conclusively, my client will drop the case'. Oh, you should have seen him. At first he was all nervous, then he calmed greatly, and agreed. He honestly thought he could con the lie detector AND the administrator of the test. He failed so miserably, it wasn't one bit funny. But to this day, if anyone would question him, he'd say it was rigged so he'd fail.

I don't know if I am about to reveal the outcome of the show to anyone who didn't see it in it's entirety,but I guess it really doesn't matter since everyone seems pretty disinterested anyway. I watched the whole show and I have a whole new perspective on this woman now.I originally felt like everyone else,that she was selfish,in it for the money,etc.I think Dr.Phil did make an impression on her and made her think a little farther into the future than what she has been.He concluded that she lives in a fantasy world,has little concept of the real world and is immature in her thinking and problem solving skills.Because I have some family members who have the same problem,I can fully understand it.It's not their fault and nothing anyone can do can change it.Their minds just don't work in the same way that some other people's minds work! She did finally admit to Dr. Phil that she made a mistake by becoming pregnant again and by having all 6 embryos implanted.I do understand her thinking about implanting all 6.she thought it would result in only one or maybe two and she didn't want to "kill" (which in her eyes is what it would have been) the other embryos.Yes,she could have kept the other embryos frozen indefinitely,but in her mind she was "done having babies" and using all the embryos made it "final".At the end of the show Dr. Phil said that she called him after she came home from the hospital that evening and told him that she had realized that the nurses had been taking care of her babies and that she hadn't really thought ahead to what it would actually be like when she got them all home.She said also that she realized that she hadn't cried in months,and that she had been crying since she got home.She also sent him a multiple page list of things that had to be in place before the hospital would allow her to bring those babies home and she was very concerned about that.Regardless of what we think about this woman,those babies are here and she will need help to care for them and her other children.As the old saying goes,lets not throw out the baby with the bathwater (no pun intended). Also remember that there are people out there who will try to profit from all of this.I don't put much stock in "they say". JMHO

He's not even a licensed doctor in CA so AFAIC he's a fraud on that too. Never could stand watching any of his tripe You cain put a donkey on a swingset but yew still caint put turnips into a punkin pie. I rate all of that garbage about the same, whether it be Ellen Degenerate, The Spew, Orca Windbag, "Dr" Fail, Springer, Springer's Sidekick... You'd think they'd run out of trailer parks to provide their "contestants" wouldn't you? Gives trailer trash a bad name. The only one that's somewhat entertaining at times is Maury Povich with their Ahm 150% (200%, 1000%) sure he's the daddy and the almost classic line, (and you can see it coming) You ARE NOT the father! and the woman, on script, hands on her face goes running into the back room boo-hoo-hooing, though "amazingly", seldom is there a tear while they're "crying". Had to chuckle at the show where they tested something like 17 guys. But even that show is only tolerable in *very* limited doses.

Dottie, yes I must admit that I have been watching the "saga" of the "nutty family". But these latest episodes have really got my dander up!! I think this girl (not a mature woman) doesn't deserve to have any of her kids until she starts putting them FIRST, instead of the men (I should say boys) in her life. I couldn't believe that she would not say "Tony will move out until the court case is done." She still doesn't get that those innocent children that she bore should always come first. And she is making Dr. Phil look like a buffoon for trying to help her. I am tired of shouting at my TV when they're on...so I guess I should just watch "Ellen" or continue to create in my quilt room! LOL Susan

Some people just cannot tell the truth and he is definitely one of them.He has convinced himself that he is telling the truth and nothing can sway him.He is a scary dude!

I've been out of pocket for most of the day, but got home just in time to see the last 15 minutes of Dr. Phil. I saw enough to know that guy was a habitual liar. I don't think he even knows what the truth is. Then he said his children are "dead" to him. Whata Guy!

Holy crap, what a scam artist! And he has psychologically abused his wife with those nasty, false accusations. Who knows what all he has put her through...

He even said his dad was dead, Dr P called his mom and she said it was not true. The stupid man did not even bat an eye.

I wonder what was wrong with the wife~~~there were signs from the get go this guy was cracked!

I think he was one of the most bizzare people I have seen on his show.

I would love for him to do a follow up on this WeirdO!!!

It makes me wonder what the purpose was as to why he was even on the show. He denied any help from Dr. Phil, and his wife was already getting a divorce, so why was he there?

As I watched that wierdo, I remembered the times when Dr. Phil has told people "I believe that YOU believe it". So true....the world according to that guy is not the world we live in.

I have often that habitual liars are so stupid that they think they are smart and that everyone else is less smart than they are, thus easily fooled.
