I only saw yesterdays show it kinda stressed me out. Those gals are wacked:( I noticed the accent too, I could not figure it out at first I thought they had speech problems. Yesterday sometimes they just sat there and stare all stupid like:(

Their dad came on, and disclosed that he was a drug addict for years too. Anyway, at the end of the show Dr. Phil told them off for being selfish and letting the children suffer, and he talked them into going into a treatment center. The mother of the three kids took some persuading.

I have no clue and didn't see the show, but with names like Yvonne and Yvette, they sound like they have a French background. Their sister's name is Maria.

I'll guess New Jersey. I saw the show, and I bet the mother with 3 kids, doesn't make it. When her husband gets out of jail, they'll probably both go down the drain.

I would like to know what kind of jobs these women have.. If they were my girls I would take their kids and kick them to the curb.. It couldn't be much worse. The one said she was so embarrassed--- well wake up there whole town knows they are junkies... just look at them.. If they were my sisters, I wouldn't want them in or at my wedding. They couldn't stay sobor for the day.. I am not sure they will go for the help that was offered to them.. I don't think either one of them think it is that bad... I have to feel sorry for the kids. They don't have a chance. Damn the sister for letting her kids ride in the car with her sister when she knows she is high.. Does this not tell you how far gone she is.. I bet this one is a stripper..... Plus, I would be darned if they bashed me as their mother when they are living in my house... MOM, wake up....

I was wondering the same thing today! It almost sounds southern but with a different twist to it.....I recorded it and was going to ask my DH to watch it and see if he knew! I sure feel sorry for those kids....sad to want to go to the park so bad and no one will take him! Makes me sick....

Before I detected (what I think) is a creole accent I thought perhaps the people may have been from the Virginias' or Carolinas. There is a musical lilt in how they talk which is why I thought it is creole.

I would have called Child Protective Services, there was enough abuse and neglect to have the kids taken away from them.

Those twin Sisters are so far gone, I hope that they are able to pull themselves together in rehab. Just doubtful.

I saw it..have no idea what accent they have...just drunken slur is what I got out of it. You can bet they had both used before the show. But what I did see clearly is that they were both in denial.

And they have also pulled the entire family into the web of drug addiction. Using excuses... the mom(she's mean..we are scared of her..etc.)the sister(she hates us)and who knows what else. And that sets the family up to defend themselves. I just hope that these women get it together..for their own sakes and the sake of their kids.

I know that this is a dated response, but these twins are from Louisiana...south Louisiana to be correct. I grew up in that area, and the dialect is undeniable.

That's a South Louisiana Cajun accent. I picked up on it instantly, & seeing one of the twins drinking Community Coffee was only confirmation. I'm from South LA myself. Apparently, they're from Franklin in Iberia Parish.

Being from Texas, I automatically heard cajans from Louisiana. I hope they were able t to get better. I know people are so judgemental but they have a disease and need to rewire their brains. Prayers for the entire family.

Coincidentally, these two Dr. Phil episodes were on the OWN network early this morning. I guess that OWN airs the older syndicated programs numerous times.

They are from Franklinton. Louisiana . Not all that live in this great state is like this. Doctors need to be brought under control with writing out scripts. The word that is being mispelled is cajun. The father husband to Yvonne that was in jail is out and now has the kids. His wife Yvonne is now in jail. Forgered a prrscription. The mother of the twins just as bad and on drugs. The one sister that was getting married hope she cut her ties with the entire family. Only level headed in tne bunch!

Every time I see stuff like this, I thank God for my dear, sweet, upstanding, boring kids. And they are great parents too!

i am seriously starting to doubt the veracity of Dr. Phil. i think he either has or is about the "jump the shark". the "scripted"-ness is getting way too obvious. he's been watching too much Jerry Springer type stuff.
