The bad news is, the cancer is back

The good news is, the cancer is back! LOL At least it is the same cancer, and hasn't morphed in to some other lymphoma. So, we know the monster that we are dealing with. Doctor called Thursday night and we discussed it for quite a while. He gave me his three recommendations. (he goes to all the lymphoma conventions he can and speaks with the lymphoma specialist at the U. of W. cancer research)

1. Wait and watch, take another scan in 2 to 3 months.

2. Take same chemo as before.. one 8 hour day infusing Rituxan and next day with the chop or cop therapy.

3.. Trying a different chemical with the rituxan... one called tree~enda! ( just made up spelling... that's what it sounds like! LOL)

Doc has the same cancer I have. He discovered his about 3 years, maybe 2 years ago. He has not treated yet. His last scan showed that his tumors have gotten smaller. So, I said " Hey, Doc! You said that with your last scan, the tumors were smaller right? Well, then, please put ME on YOUR church's prayer list, okay? got that?" LOL he was taken aback at first and then cracked up and said that he absolutely will! lol

I am leaning toward the wait and see. It is only 1 tumor right now... 6.7 cm X 4.5 Cm. Not humongous, but not small either. I am thinking of requesting a bone marrow test. We will see what he says.

Okay, now, I have the Catholic, Jewish, Mormon, General protestant, Lutheran prayers.. looking for Hindu, Buddhist, Native American.... on and on! lol
