You have my prayers, and a suggestion as well. Over the years I've run across some impressive first-person stories about the effectiveness of the spice turmeric in fighting cancer. I hope you'll look it up and perhaps give it a try. I know you can buy it in capsule form. Easy to take.

The biopsy was very scary. He had to go in from the back, push the needle in, leave the room, scan, push it in, leave room, scan. It was so close to my spine and aorta, I was very nervous. The Doc (one of THE best and cutest! lol) laughed and said he wasn't worried about those, but was worried about my lung. Said the chances were high that it would be punctured and collapse, so I had to give him my permission to purposely go through the lung to retrieve a sample if he had to. That would have put me in the hospital for a while. a little while. But he didnt' have to do that. He said surgery would be VERY VERY risky in that spot. So someone was watching over me!

But the weight loss has been on hold for the last 2 weeks. I couldn't finish work (very physical and involves lifting 50 to 90 pounds several times a day) had to sit on my butt for 5 days.. no exercising, no driving... sheesh! you'd think I was sick or something!

Dean's mom had the same cancer for about 20 years. She went through 3 rounds of chemo pills. She got it the last time when she was 92! and said she just didn't want to mess with anything again.

(Methodist, BTW) The last MRI Glen had showed that it has spread to his lymph nodes. It must be the ones around his breast area. That is where he hurts a lot these days. The Nexavar doesn't seem to be as bad this time....at least not yet. He's only taken 4 pills.
