Hummingbirds may be found throughout the state during the winter. You just need to offer what they want and be lucky enough to be where they are. Not every neighborhood/habitat will support them. I'll just copy something I posted a while back for someone who wanted to use Photobucket: Once you register at Photobucket, which is free, you can Browse to find pictures in your computer that you want to post on the forum. Once the "address" of a picture (that is, what tells where it is in your computer) appears in the little window, you click on "Upload," and you will find a small version of the picture a bit farther down on the Photobucket page. There will be three little windows under it. Select everything in the middle one, which has "HTML Tag" next to it, and then press Ctrl and "c" or else go to "Edit" and "Copy." Then, in the window where you are composing a message and want to post a picture on the forum, you simply hit "Ctrl" and "v" (or go to Edit and then Paste, as you did when copying). When you hit "Preview Message," the picture itself will appear along with your message on the next page so you get an idea of how it is going to look on the forum. We'll be looking forward to seeing pictures of your work.

Smashing them between your fingers is what I recommend. Just take a gander for monarch eggs and pillars before you do it. Oleander aphids are a non-native aphid that has taken advantage of the chemical protection that milkweed provides it.

Next, beautiful Princess Syndrome-probably made even better by your purple soil. Love the colors. I always like to see Marietta Warrior. It has that big fat flat look I so like. Wispy Rays certainly greeted you with a bright face! Keep them coming when you have time. Expecting the purples, you know. And I so wish I could send you some of our rain. It rained every day last week, three days this week and more expected next week. I have already lost one and maybe two new lilies to rot from sitting in water underground.
