Screen porch/roofing question

I have a related screen porch and roofing question.

The roof DIRECTLY above the exterior supports of our front screen porch has a few bumps and dips in it.

The roofer (who has been wonderful) had replaced all the decking and shingles. He said he thinks it's a twisted wooden support under there.

A friend, who does some construction and remodel work feels that it may be broken roof supports.

ANOTHER friend said it's really hard to tell. You can't see the problem from the inside, since it's directly over horizonal supports. There is one bump over the front vertical porch support.

It's hard for me to tell if it's getting worse, or has stayed the same. Anyone have any ideas?

Also, the porch slants forward. Someone once told me this was for water run-off, to make sure it runs away from the house. Is this correct?

THANK YOU! Like y'all, living in an older home means staying on top of things. Especially when they have not been taken care of in the best manner in the past. We have a 1926 bungalow.
