The sky is not falling but I need quick help

Our renovation is going so well and our granite arrives today. I am beyond excited. Yesterday, our pendants were put up yesterday and when I got home and put the lights on I immediately realized the kitchen was way too dark. (There had been light bulbs up before the pendants went up.) Right now, there are six 6" recessed lights two 4" recessed lights over the sink and 3 pendants over the island. The 6" recessed lights currently have 65 watt bulbs in them. Our pendants have 50watt 12volt GY6.35 - (Bi-Pin) T4 Halogen bulbs and do give some light but now appear more decorative.

The brightest part in the kitchen is over the sink (they put in two 4 " lights because they could not center one 6" light.

Our under counter lighting is still be installed.

I spoke to my KD yesterday and he said he would check if the right bulbs are in the recessed lights. He also said we could add some recessed lights if we need to.

Please take a look at this floor plan and tell me if you have any advise.

Thank you all. This forum is my lifeline!
