This is premature for me but I would definitely use Grothouse Lumber in PA for wood counters again. I expect my counter in a week or two and from the service I have already received, I can't imagine it will be anything less that amazing. They have been so friendly and so nice and helped me through the whole process.

I am just beginning my actual kitchen remodel and I decided I wanted the Shaw's 3018 farmhouse sink. When I tried to buy one locally, I was told that they were backordered until the end of April. I called Ira Wood and they had one in stock, free shipping, and no sales tax. I saved approximately $250 over the area store. The sink arrived within a week and was packed very well. Good customer service and great price!

I'm in Massachusetts, and would use Gary Sayers at Maine Soapstone again in a minute. He did our kitchen counters in soapstone and our powder room vanity in Cararra marble, and did an amazing job.

We also used AWP Butcherblock for a small breakfast bar. They sent us a slab, and our GC fabricated it. It's gorgeous.

IKEA cabinets worked beautifully for us!

Locally, we used Patriot Flooring in Wilmington (the GC mostly dealth with them, not us.)

We used Baron's Aplliances in Salem, NH for our range, fridge and OTR. They were fantastic and very patient.

Our backsplash came from two lovely sources. We used National Tile in North Reading for our field tile. They were incredibly kind and patient with us, and walked us through dozens of posibilities! We also used Susan Jablon Mosaics for the glass mosaic tile we used as an accent.

Our drawer pulls and cabinet knobs all came from Horton Brasses in Pennsylvania. They were incredibly nice as well as professional, and their products are beautifully made.

This is fun! Who else would folks recommend?

I would use LIS (long island stove) for cabinets again. They have locations in NJ and Long Island. They have Merillat (ours)and DuraSupreme. I probably drove our salesguy crazy with the 20+ different layouts I asked him to do but he was more than happy to do whatever I asked. He told us when ordered it was a 6-8 week lead time for delivery and they came week 7. When cabs arrived I was not happy with some of the doors. They replaced everyone without a question and they arrived in 2 weeks plus we got to keep the first ones. Honestly, now that we have the replacements I cant even tell which ones I wanted replaced to begin with. I think I was being overly picky and panicky since this was my first time ever remodeling. So we have extra doors for the future! I have no complaints of the quality, price or service. If you're not in my area for LIS, I would certainly check out Merillat cabinets through another vendor. A+++
