Dining Room Table Centerpiece - What do you think?

I posted earlier about this and changed the entire centerpiece.

What do you think about this centerpiece? Is it too small???

I'm hoping this finally works!

Thank you for the mockup! That actually helps quite a bit...as well as perusing Houzz and Zillow Digs. I have realized that this set may be solid wood and a decent deal, but I think I would prefer something else. I actually find myself drawn to round table, which likely wouldn't fit my rectangular room, but that is another topic altogether! A piece of glass (which I can get in any size and shape I choose), a rug, and focus on accessories will likely do a lot more for the room than a "nice" table set that doesn't really suit me. Thanks for all the feedback.

Redroze-I love the weathered look of the RH tables but some of their furniture tends to be massive. A few good things about the PB table is that it is 38" wide, and extends to seat 10. I'm not crazy about the legs but overall it seems to have what I need. If I could find it in reclaimed wood for the same price that would be perfect! Thanks for your opinion about the white. I think different shades of white in a room isn't matchy matchy as much as if it were the exact same color of white and same lines. Segbrown-Please excuse my mess in the following pic! The walls are camouflage by benjamin moore (never mind the swatches next to the window-and everything is painted now). I actually hired a color consultant and she convinced me to keep it (I wasn't liking it) and to add layers: pictures,accessories, etc. It is a hint green. Here is another shot of it so you can see how it really changes depending on the lighting and the room it's in. I'm not crazy about it in our dining room. I think it looks muddy. Just FYI here is a pic!

Thank you, prepmom. They do get a bit dirty but it's not really noticeable unless you're looking closely. Only 1 end chair gets regular use by DH, so I switch them out once in awhile. If he's particularly grungy from working outside I throw a sheet or towel over the chair if I'm around to catch him before he sits down! I take them to the dry cleaners every 6 months or so, but have them wet clean them because drycleaning didn't seem to help with some stains. I think I'm going to start cleaning them myself, starting with an Oxy soak in the bathtub, and maybe just take them in for pressing if needed. I hate ironing! Here's another view that shows the side chairs better. They have lines similar to one of your choices. Those slips wash easily in my washer and dryer and still look new after several years. All the fabric is ivory linen.

Becky-I'm sure my terminology is off saying coastal. Our home is a shingle style exterior, lots of traditional finishes and moldings but maintains a livable, casual feel and very open and airy with lots of windows bringing the outside in all around. I'm not sure what the term is, but that's what I mean more or less by coastal. Thank you My3dogs. I've read that LONG post and every single response twice. I appreciate the push to again look local and consider a custom table. I reconnected with a local woodworker and although it is priced more than the RH table, I think I can make it work in our budget. They use your choice of wood (oak, alder, doug fir) and your choice of stain or natural finish, etc. They do beautiful work, so I think I will go this direction. Not sure what I'll do for my sideboard/hutch yet, but that piece can come later if necessary. Here's a couple completed tables the local woodworker has completed:

Hi,
This set is by Broyhill. It's a retired line. I got it on craigslist for $1500 delivered! A steal huh? I love the edge of the table. I think it's cherry. Not totally sure.

Whats good as a centrepiece is crystal Soil. Crystal soil is used instead of water and soil for your cut flowers and plants

I love your wainscoting and wall color. Is the wainscoting "real" or is it painted drywall? Also, do you mind sharing your wall color?

I would love to see pictures of the other walls in the room. Your DR appears to be a similar size to mine and I never can decide what to put on the other walls.

The wainscotting is real. It was the builder standard in our house.
