I hate guns!!! I grew up ALOT of them. My father was an collector of rifles and handguns...those were the days before they were in cases or locked up. Thankfully by the time my kids were around there, he had everything locked tight!!!

I have only fired a gun 3 times....and that is all I ever want to. My step-brother taught me how to handle and shot a couple differnt guns when i was about 18.

Yep, DH has somewhere between 8 and 10. 12 and 20 gauge, pistols, rifle, high powered and of course there is the pellet gun.

Wow, you guys scare me! I'm Canadian and most "regular" people don't have them unless they are real enthusiasts. Anytime we cross the border I always look around and wonder how many people around me might be carrying.

Some kind of rifle and my Daddy's pistol. Don't think there are any bullets for it. When my son lived here for a year he had an arsenal. When he moved out he left them here and I had to tell him to come get those guns. I have too many children in and out of here to have them sitting on the floor of a closet! At least DH has his put up somewhere!

My DH is a hunter and also belongs to a "gun club", so yes we have guns.

Yep...I grew up in a family of hunters.So we have shotguns,rifles and a muzzleloader that was my Grandfathers.

Yes...we have a lot of them...Several rifles, shotguns, pistols. Plus several black powder.

All but a couple of the pistols are locked up in a gun safe. The pistols are in one place and the clips are in another.

There are two very large dobermans and one pit bull and a Yorkie guard dog .

So I pity anyone who would walk in uninvited...lol

I had 3 older brothers who liked to hunt so I grew up with guns. I learned to fire them by the time I was 12 and even took a college class called "Rifle & Pistol" and got marksman grade. I liked shooting at targets and clay pigeons. I don't think I could shoot a live animal. So I have no fear of guns but my DH hates them so we don't have in the house.

Yep...all kinds. DH does not hunt (we only shoot animals with a camera), but he loves target practice. He was a Marine sharpshooter, and he's very good. I grew up around guns, and am a pretty good shot also.

Indeed, I do. I have a .22 rifle which is used when some poor creature must be put out of it's misery. A 16 guage shotgun with buck shot incase something comes after my animals, and my personal hand gun which is a .32 magnum. I have small hands and it fits my hands. It is for anyone who walks thru the door unannounced.

Every time I have had to call the sheriff department out here, it has taken over an hour and a half. I can't rely on bashing someone over the head with a frying pan.

We don't hunt. There is an old sign on the trail that goes back thru our woods that reads "Hunters will be shot."

Yes. It's probably so dusty I'd be afraid to fire it. The same bullets have been in it since I got it in 1982. Do bullets go bad?

We have several. Until about two months ago we had a lot of them in a huge gun safe and enough ammo to last for eons. Bob sold the large gun safe and most of the guns. He kept some of his favorites and some hard to find ones. He sold all the ammo to a gun dealer except for a little bit that works with the guns he has. Bob does have a concealed carry permit and when we go to Memphis he takes one with him.

No guns here. My Dad had hunting rifles and a pistol (he had a permit). He told my brother, when I die, get rid of all of it. I believe my brother did.

Only a BB gun to annoy the neighbor's chickens when they get in our yard..same for the neighbor's cat who terrorizes our two. Years ago in my first life I was part of a deer- and elk-hunting family (they definitely ate everything they shot) and shot a rifle a few times: at a paper-plate target.
Seems I was a pretty good shot. I couldn't shoot at a live animal unless it was threatening my life..then probably wouldn't have a firearm with me! DH hates guns..won't have one on the place!

It's difficult to obtain hand guns here in Canada,and only avid collectors usually have them.DH doesn't hunt,and neither did my dad,so I didn't really grow up around them.

Rifles, shotguns, handguns. DH and the pups are all big hunters; all guns locked and stored in locked safe.

Yes we have weapons - lots of them. There are two .12 gauges - one a Winchester and one a Remington, one .30-.30, one Kreig 1840, one .270, two Ruger .22's, one S&W .38 handgun and one odd little pistol that is an over/under that holds a .45 on the bottom and a .410 on the top. DH calls that one a snake killer. He usually carries it if we go fishing in the woods. They are all under lock and key except for the two handguns. Those are kept loaded in our bedroom. Of course, if the grandkids are over they are also locked up and unloaded.

I love skeet/trap shooting and am very good at it.

Oh yeah....I live with a hunter...who has raised 2 hunters. Even the daughter knows how to shoot a shotgun and a rifle. Not that she does it often..but the knowledge is there. Also, all 3 kids have been through a hunters safety course and Dad has taught them how to handle a gun.

We have a large assortment of weapons. Handguns, shotguns, rifles, muzzleloaders, the whole bit. Most are locked up in a gun safe at all times, others are scattered around the house for protection. We live way out in the country, so we have to be able to protect ourselves. And we both like to shoot. And we're both good at it.

No. I grew up with a shotgun in the house because my dad hunted occasionally. A couple of years after my dad died, the police had a gun turn in event (this was in 1968) and my mom was so happy to give them that shotgun and ammo. I had a BB gun as a kid and I did tartget practice.

I inherited 3 guns with my Family's Home when I moved in. I know nothing about them and don't even want to look at them. I'd love to get rid of them.
