How do I text a question mark??

I'm a barely function texter. Usually my DGD is the one texting me a question. But this time I want to ask her something. Can't figure out how to do the question mark......

I suppose different phones do it differently? I have a Nokia, several years old.

You still have your phone manual? I could tell you if you had a phone just like mine - which is likely, but not highly likely. You never know though - so ditto on Brenda's question. Make and model. Then you can look up the manual (the one you lost - LOL) on-line and go to 'how to text'. In general you hit reply to a text and then type in your message using the keys on the phone to represent the different letters and the # or * key for spaces and then hit send. My phone will ask if I want to save a copy in the send folder or not and then it sends. It rings me if my son sends me a text message. Better idea - call your son and tell him you love him back. Texting is SOOOOOOO time consuming IMO!

How do I mark wires for switch?

The white in a switch loop gets marked as black at the switch. When you open up the light box the black will be the feed to the fixture, and the white tied to the other blacks is pretty self evident as NOT being a neutral. If you open up the switch box it is also pretty clear what is going on with the black tape on the white as a reminder it is a hot. Neutrals are not switched anyway.

Iphone texting question...deleting text convos.

I have my phone set to save "forever"...I have to think it's from the other persons side since it's only their side of the conversation that is gone. I don't feel the need to delete texts or pics but I could see this contact as the type to "delete" texts or photos...and this being from witnessing it. They had a pictures for a craigslist ad they had posted and she was insistant (sp?) that her hubby delete the pics off his phone immediately. ETA: I just googled and at quick glance it says that text conversation is only removed from the persons device who deleted it. Wont be deleted from the other persons device. The only thing I can think of is that between those old conversations and now current conversations, I had deleted this person in my contact list. Not sure if that would have effected that...so weird. Next time I'm near a Sprint store, I may go in and ask...I just can't figure out how that would happen.

Oh yes indeed. I also have to spell out numbers because I haven't figured that out either.

keep pressing 1 until it comes up,the ? mark. To get a number keep pressing that no. til it comes up

I believe there's a "symbol" function (like abc/ABC/symbol) that changes your characters from letters>number>symbols. You should be able to access if while you're texting.

My phone will also use the "1" key for punctuation. Press it once for a . twice for a ? three times for a !

I can also press the * key (star key) to bring up a symbols menu.

I have a Nokia too. I use the star key or the #1 key for alternates. Keep pressing it and you will notice a little icon on the left side of the screen changing from abc/ABC/Abc and symbols. Don't get discouraged. It took me a long time to get the hang of it. You can also change in the middle of a word or sentence buy pressing *down* if you have a Nokia with the rocker key.

Good point, Mrsmarv. I'll have to see if my kids are ready to upgrade their Blackberries. Maybe one of them can donate the old one to old mom. :-)
