Check the tomato forum. There was a discussion over there and someone listed how to get rid of the ads. I can't remember the exact post but I'll try to find it. It worked for me!! Found it- Try this: I don't know if there's some additional mozilla thing that will get rid of the ads you're still getting, but this will block them: (copied from another thread here) "The Universal Solution: (if you have a PC) This will work on Windows systems for all browsers; IE, FireFox and Netscape. To effect this solution you need to edit a Windows system file called "HOSTS". I found my missing Fall bin! I had previously said if I (later on) found it in my Christmas storage, I'd scream loud enough for you to hear. Well I did find it with other Christmas bins....thankfully now instead of in Dec... but I almost screamed anyway! You see the "Gi-normous" blue bin? It is totally FULL of Fall. It feels like bricks are in there, I could barely drag from garage into family room! I didn't do anything so far but lift the lid to confirm it was Fall. The size and weight of this thing is REALLY scary! Especially as I unpacked 4 other Fall bins, the size of the green one, and you saw how much I've decorated. Holy Purple Cow! Maybe this one should have STAYED missing! Sheesh. It was in one of the places I'd looked THREE times already. Guess one should never stop looking, huh? I have a corner in the garage with Christmas bins, most all the size of the green one cause that is an easy size for me to lift and carry. Tho I do have some the next size up for garlands as I have so many of them. This blue one, needless to say, was on the bottom of the stack. And I was POSITIVE all my big Xmas garlands were stored in there. POSITIVE, I tell you! Of course if I had any working brain cells left, when I put it out there last year and had clearly written FALL on it in a big black marker, I'd have made sure the lettering faced the FRONT and not the garage wall. Arrrrrggghhhh. Anyway, this evening, out of frustration after previously checking all the green bins before... without having to move any of them... I moved all of them and looked in the blue one just to prove to myself it did hold the Xmas garland. Wish you'd seen my face when I saw what I saw. And glad I couldn't see the look of horror that it must have showed. Especially when I went to move it. (I swear there has to be bricks in there!!) I probably will have to drag it out on the back porch in the morning as I can't have it, or a mess of stuff, in my family-room cause company is coming over. The man who wrote Jason's book is coming back to go thru my photos, and the memorabilia (articles, magazines, etc) I've collected since he was burned. He'll probably be here around 2 hrs. The book is at the publisher waiting for photos. Will be ready to order soon hopefully. (Jas and Russ both will sign copies for any of you who want it by the way. Unfortunately I don't know the price yet) Well, my back is screaming at me for dragging that bin and moving all the others full of Xmas things, so I better go move around and treat myself to some Vicodin. If I was smart I'd throw them out and get some Vodka. LOL. Clax, pumpking cheesecake is one of my absolute favs. You will definately have to try it. It is delicious! IChick, I will be cutting and pasting and trying your award winning recipe. Raisin wives! Yup. That is what was posted. I live in the raisin capital of the universe. When I first moved here, they said they grew raisins. I said, grapes. They said, no raisins. I gave up after that. We supply about 1/3 of all the food for the US, within the borders of our county. BIG ag area. Lots of stone fruit, melons, nuts, grapes, raisins and wine! Not to mention turkeys, chickens, eggs, beef and milk. Recipes--BTW, although I submitted this pie crust recipe and this is the one I made (it is easy), I have moved on and have another favorite one that is far better than this one. Makes three pie crusts 1 ½ Cups Crisco (regular, not butter flavored) 3 Cups All Purpose Flour 1 Egg 5 Tablespoons cold water 1 Tablespoon white vinegar 1 Teaspoon salt In a large bowl, with a pastry cutter, gradually work the Crisco into the flour for about three or four minutes until it resembles a coarse meal. In a small bowl, beat an egg with a fork and then pour it into the flour/shortening mixture. Add up to five tablespoons ice cold water, 1 tablespoon of white vinegar and 1 teaspoon salt. Stir together gently until all of the ingredients are incorporated. Separate the dough into thirds. Form three even sized balls of dough and place each into a large Ziploc bag. Using a rolling pin, slightly flatten each ball of dough (about ½ inch thick) to make rolling easier later. Seal the bags and place them in the freezer until you need them. If needed immediately, put in freezer for 1520 minutes to chill. When ready to use the dough to make a crust, remove from freezer and thaw for 15 minutes. On a floured surface roll the dough, starting at the center and working your way to the end. Sprinkle some flour over the top of the dough if it gets sticky. If the dough is sticking to the counter top, use a metal spatula and carefully scrape it up and flip it over and continue rolling until it is about ½ inch larger than your pie pan. With a spatula, lift the dough carefully from the surface of the counter onto the pie pan. Gently press the dough against the corner of the pan. Go around the pie pan pinching and tucking the dough to make a clean edge. Pie crust is ready to bake or fill. Coconut Oatmeal Pie Heat oven to 350 degrees 2 Eggs 1 Cup sugar ¾ Cup oats ¾ Cup corn syrup ¾ Cup plus 1 tablespoon melted butter 1 Cup coconut 1 Tablespoon vanilla Pinch salt 1 9" unbaked pie shell Chocolate (optional) Beat eggs and sugar until thick (3 minutes). Add salt, syrup, butter and vanilla. Stir in coconut, oatmeal. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes. If desired, drizzle melted chocolate over the top of the pie. Best served warm with vanilla ice cream. Auntie Floras Raisin Pie (This truly was my Aunt Flora's recipe) Heat oven to 425 degrees 2 Cups raisins (I like to use the flame seedless raisins) 2 Cups water ½ Cup white or brown sugar 2 Tablespoons cornstarch ½ Cup finely chopped nuts 2 Teaspoons grated lemon peel (Meyer lemons are great) 34 Tablespoons lemon juice 1 Cup pineapple pieces (cut to small bite size) Sugar and cinnamon sprinkle (if desired) Heat raisins in water to boiling and cook five minutes. Stir together sugar and cornstarch. Stir into raisin mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir one minute. Remove from heat. Stir in nuts, pineapple, lemon peel and juice. Pour hot filling into pastry lined pie pan. Cover with top crust. Make slits in the top crust (or can do a lattice crust). Seal and flute. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture if desired. Place on cookie sheet to catch any spills! Cover edge with 23 inches of foil. Remove foil last 15 minutes of baking. Bake 3040 minutes at 425 degrees until brown and juice begins to bubble. Best served warm. Hopefully, the board police won't remove this! Enjoy!

Oh my gosh, Pal, how unbelievable that they would chew through that concrete! It makes me shudder just thinking about it. And those being rats, not mice. Thank goodness you knew what to do. Busy: Yellowjackets are scary, as they can be so aggressive. Oakley, I would have done the exact same thing! Mdln: that can is what we used. I bought it at Home Depot for $8.95, which is expensive. I was glad to get something engineered to work for rodents, though, so I wasn't' arguing the price that day (LOL). But, this stuff is injected into holes via a long, plastic tube. It hardens fairly quickly, which is good for the hole, but makes the tube unusable soon after. So, have a game plan before you start and fill everything quickly. Wet paper towels, a sturdy paper plate and a metal spatula to smooth out the foam worked best for us. I had to use Goof Off to get it off of the spatula, though. Tibbie: I'm kind of concerned, as I pick up our new furkid on Wednesday afternoon, which is just 2 days from now. I need to make sure nothing harmful such as mousetraps, etc. (we don't use poisons) are around for him to get into. P.S. I'll try to post pics of my new boy on Thursday.
