Our native plants feed the pollinators. The plants from China don't. Here in Central Texas, we have areas that are void of life because all of native plants have been displaced by plants whose heritage goes back to China... which doesn't feed any of our bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and so forth. Absolutely untrue!! Non-native plants do indeed support birds, bees, butterflies and other pollinators. It is a fallacy to think otherwise. And many do so just as effectively and attract as wide a 'clientele' as do native plants! I’m thinking of buying the Wax Crepe Myrtle shrubs not the trees. There are wax myrtles and there are crape myrtles but there is no such plant as a wax crape myrtle. Wax myrtle is botanically Morella cerifera, an evergreen shrub. Crape myrtle is Lagerstroemia indica, a deciduous shrub or small tree. One is native and one is not. Lots of BS posted on these forums. One needs to be careful about the info they are taking away as a lot of it is garbage!

Jo We mainly use Kelty bags and have for many many years. Kelty does not reccomend storing a sleeping bag for long periods in a stuff sack. We have a place to hang them in the basement which is heated. So mold is not a problem. We used goose down filled bags when I first went into the Army. Man I hated those things and still do. One small hole and feathers were either choking or poking you. You could not get them dry in the feild if they got wet and weighted a ton. I was one happy military camper when we switched to synthetic. Kelty's Care guid for SYNTHETIC sleeping bags/ Cleaning DO NOT DRY CLEAN. Close zippers and velcro tabs. Machine wash in front-loading machine (DO NOT use an agitator-style, top-loading machine. The agitator could cause damage to shell and insulation not covered under warranty) with cold water and mild soap (Ivory Flakes, Woolite, Sport Wash, Etc.) Not detergents. Do NOT use bleach or fabric softener. Rinse thoroughly; double rinse if necessary to eliminate soap residue. Line dry only. DO NOT use a dryer to dry. (Heat in dryer may cause damage to bag not covered by warranty.) Unzip & dry open. Dryer can be used to fluff bag only, NO HEAT, fluff cycle only. Storage Between trips, it is best to store your bag in a large, cotton sack. Never use a plastic bag since it can trap moisture and encourage mold, mildew and bacterial growth. Try to never store your sleeping bag in a small stuff sack since, over time, this reduces the loft of the sleeping bag.

The engineers thought it would be a good idea coming off the highway on short ramps to not have to downshift through all those cogs, but rather upshift once more and volia you are back in first. This works great until you forget what gear you are in and grab 1st at 50mph. More than your thighs flex when that happens. The widowmaker put down nearly 60hp but handled like a chipmunk on crack being chased by a broom. Scary bike. The boat -- aptly named as the best 2 days of this bikes existance was the day I bought it and the day I sold it.

I live about 4 hours from Myrtle Beach; we go there every year or two. There is a family-run hole in the wall restaurant on Main street in NORTH Myrtle Beach (that's a few miles north of MB itself), a few blocks from the ocean, called Hoskins. Very simple, no alcohol, but it has some of the best fresh seafood simply prepared, that I have ever eaten (and I'll be the first to admit I'm a snob when it comes to seafood). Scallops were incredibly sweet. And if you have a free afternoon drive down another 18-20 miles and check out Brookgreen Gardens.
