I would advise you to check with a chiropractor with the arm problems. I did something to the muscle in my left arm-couldn't even reach out and close the car door for awhile, or put my hand in my pocket. Didn't go to the doctor until it got that bad. I started doing the exercises they gave me for rotorcuff problems one time, and going to the chiropractor. Both things have helped.... It has been a slow process, because I waited so long to go (when Bill was sick). I still go one day a week but I can do almost everything with my arm now--of course things make my arm sore, because the muscle was lax for so long. After Bill died, I went every day for several weeks, and then gradually worked down to the one day. For every month I didn't go, it takes 3 months for healing. I am just about to the end--I HOPE! Glad about your FIL! Sorry about your dog.

Some very good advice given. Some points to consider: 1. I did a little research just now and discovered there IS an actual sleep disorder called "Shift Work Sleep Disorder". I've provided a link to a website explaining this disorder and HIGHLY RECOMMEND reading it. 2. Men need to feel financially secure. If they aren't then it definitely affects them negatively...leading to depression. 3. Sorry, but men could get pissy with you, but still want nooky after. Women...a man pisses us off, he's banned from touching us for the night. Keeping him sexually happy will help lessen his tension most definitely. Hate to say it, but the #1 thing most guys complain about not getting from their wives is oral. They'd even take bad oral over no oral. Seriously! Also, they're typically even more happy if they don't have to do any *work* themselves. I know, it sounds shallow and selfish, but it is what it is. Just remember, men are VERY visual, simple creatures so remember that when you're thinking of ways to show him you're still attracted. Little notes here and there are nice, but if you want to stir him crazy...do naughty things. lol Maybe webcam him at work with an unexpected quick "flash" or send a naughty text message to his cell phone with or w/o a private naughty pic. Remember: Guys are VERY visual and simple creatures. 4. Women are intuitive, men aren't. We read between the lines and can identify someone's wants & needs MUCH better than men can. Again, remember...simple creatures. Hinting around to something you want doesn't work often. Guys would rather their lady just tell them than having to figure it out and possibly get it wrong. I'm not saying they're STUPID. I'm just saying they like things simple and not complicated. 5. Be super careful with arguing around the children. This is NOT good. Children are VERY perceptive. How they play with others and how they communicate with you and your husband is reflective of your relationship. Its important they see the 2 of you as a team, respecting each other, not correcting or critizing the other. Its important the 2 of you work out your differences in disciplining privately and decide how the 2 of you will handle child conflicts. Additionally, its CRUCIAL that if either parent's method of discipline begins changing into an unhealthy/possibly emotional abusive manner that the person steps away from the situation...aka an adult time-out. JohnnyLee is correct in suggesting you determine a code word/phrase so if one of you gets a bit out of hand, you've BOTH agreed that the person excuse themselves from the situation. This is much healthier for everyone involved. I wish you all the best with your situation. Kindly, Me Here is a link that might be useful: Shift Work Sleep Disorder

pbrisjar, It sounds like you are asserting some control over your kitchen! Good for you girl! I think DIY on a tight budget can be one of the hardest tests for a marriage. I bumped into a friend at the store who said she'd just finished a DIY kitchen and she loved it. While talking, I said you loved it, cuz you paid other people to do it for you AND she had no snags at all! (Everyone's idea of DIY is different!:>) We are totally renovating our house from top to bottom, and other than installation of the hardwood floor, granite, windows, and the gasline, we've done it ALL ourselves. That isn't even the hardest part, the hardest is trying to do the best job for the least amount of money. Juggling what you really want with what you can really afford is much harder than the actual work. Perhaps a useful exercise might be for you guys to each write down a list of priorities, and then come to some consensus on what will be done, and in what order. My DH is like yours in that it doesn't bother him to have paint cans in DR, screws and baseboards on kitchen counter, tape and level and tools on buffet in LR, window trim leaning against wall in BR, etc. His 'mess tolerance' is so much higher than mine, it's like talking to someone from a different planet (Mars perhaps?) Sure hope your stain issue gets resolved- we hired a carpenter to finish up the last parts of our kitchen cabinets, and an estimated 10 day job has taken 2 months, and we just got an email last Tuesday, saying that the first coat of finish had an adverse reaction to the stain, and that they had to sand everything off and start over. This is one time I'm glad we paid someone else...wouldn't want to be doing this ourselves. So, I feel your pain!

Indigo Rose tomato https://extension.oregonstate.edu/news/purple-tomato-debuts-indigo-rose Biggest issue sound like as it’s always deep purple, people harvest too early then it’s not as tasty. They tell you make sure the bottom has no green and it’s getting a bit soft before pulling it. Bred to have high levels of antioxidants, not in other tomatoes. "The new tomato is released as an open pollinated variety, and as such, seed saved from self-pollinated plants will grow true and not produce hybrids. "It's also important to know that genetic engineering techniques are never used to develop these lines," Myers said. "These tomatoes are not GMO.” Mine’s in my cart, need to double check a few of my lists to be sure I didn’t miss anything else this time.
