No it wasn't. When I manually switched it to intensive bake, it was much better. I'm just wondering if it was programmed correctly or if I can change some of the programs.

SWAN it is,although we met with one of the top ped gastro docs in the nation and she thinks she's pinned it down to Hypogammaglobulinaemia (is that name short enough?) Basically an immunoglobulin disorder (he's always been low IgA). We'll see in a couple of months. So until then I will just live with my ugly two year old ducklin...ummm Swan :oP He's a keeper on occasion. Today I'm getting used to our new routine. TO get him back to baseline I had to go back to hospital foods so I'm basically "cooking" with a fork and a microwave. Everything is seasoned with fake butter (soy) maple syrup and honey. Everything comes from a can...and many are made by a guy named Boyardee who (in my opinion) does NOT deserve his chef title. df it sounds like you're describing Alaska :oP It's not much of a stretch to go from here to Duluth. ALthough when we left it was -8 in Duluth and by the time we got home that night it was +30 degrees in Anchorage. But this is the real reason we don't care...who cares about the weather when you can live in this... Thanks Sue :) Fortunately my little trooper is tough as nails! I got that flu too and must say that I couldn't have traveled like that if my life depended on it! You Marylanders pack a whopping in your bugs!

The top two without a doubt for me: Big Night - I can't tell you how much I love Stanley Tucci and Tony Shalhoub. Love, love, love them both. And number one ---- Babette's Feast - a movie that explains without words how food and sensuality are intertwined and the marriage between them is a human necessity. How Babette brought joy to the utterly sense-starved, ascetic townsfolk and their bitter, frigid and abstinent lives, lifting them at least for one evening to a truer meaning of life than they had ever let themselves experience. That Babette gave up everything to "feed" them in this manner, to share her gifts, to thank them, to deliver a dream... still an astonishing film.

ctycdm: Some of the best meals I had came from the neighbor I had in our first house. A lower class neighborhood. Her kitchen was maybe 9x6 or 9x7, roughly the size of my new pantry. I don't know how she did it, but she hosted amazing parties almost every weekend it seemed. Her entire house was less than 1000 sq. ft. but still, she made amazing food and her guests were always happy. I am blessed with the finances to afford an awesome kitchen and when I get caught up with all the minutiae of designing, I try to remember her and remember that it doesn't take a gourmet kitchen to produce gourmet food and it doesn't take a 5 star house to make your guests feel welcome.
