I have a new porch, but no swing, yet. I have an old glider...and will put it out there eventually. It's stored in my other house, and I need to move some stuff around to get to it.

I have swing on my back deck. i'd LOVE front porch with a swing! Reminds me of Beaver Cleaver days. :)

I have a swing on my front porch and I use it often when the weather is warm. I've been known to sit out there when the temps were 100° and read my book.

I have a glider on my front porch and there is nothing I like better than sitting on it during the spring and summer, drinking a glass of ice tea, and watching the flora and fauna in the gardens. Oh Joy :) I can't wait.

I swapped out my front porch glider for two rocking chairs and table. The rockers are easier for me to get out of with bad knees. I love to sit out there and watch all the wildlife or read a book or talk to my DIL.

We have a wooden front porch swing, and it really neeeds sanded and re-varnished this spring. First thing on the to-do list!

I have a glider on my back patio,and just a plain bench on the so called front porch.Here in Calif we don't have the big porches like i grew up with,especially on these homes built in the 50's.

I would love either. The only thing in my yard right now is my kids' old metal swingset. The swings broke years ago.
Maybe I can buy an adult seat to hang from it. Anybody know if they sell such a thing?

We have an oak swing on the front porch; and in the back yard we have a two-seat swing that's made in the style of the old fashioned metal lawn chairs. I don't have a photo of it, and it's nighttime and pouring down rain so I'm not going to go out there to take a photo... but I'll put in a link to a web site that has something similar. They show a two-seat glider that will give you the basic idea. Our swing, though, is a swing rather than a glider (I know you realize that) and it has a fabric awning above it that can be "angled" depending on where the sun is. It's fun.

We have 3 swings in the yard/flower beds, one glider on the dock on one of our ponds and 1 glider on the porch.

I don't have either. I opted for a hammock instead. But I don't like it. I love the retro lawn chairs!

I have a porch swing.

I own half of a two-family house (it's condos), and we have two wooden porch swings facing each other on the front porch. My next-door neighbors and I often sit out there to talk and to greet the neighbors that walk by. It's a fun gathering place - we often end up with the swings full and people sitting on the porch stairs.

We have a wonderful porch swing, we bought it 25 years ago. Our cousin's FIL is a real craftsman, he made it and it is as wonderful as ever...tho I need to sand it and paint it this year.

No swing for me....no spring for me. Michigan has canceled spring...at least until July.

Like Cheryl ok I am really into swings.

I have 3 outside in frames.

One on a porch in a frsme.

One made like a horse from old tires for the kids.

And an extra long 6 foot one waiting for a frame wide enough to hold it.

I would really like one of those whole bed size ones that I have seen in home magazines.

I had one on my back deck but had to move it into the yard to make room for a spa. Now the poor thing is out in the weather and I want to read a book but its just too cold.
I hope I can find some new cushions for it so I can use it again.

Had a nice long swing on a very large front porch as a kid. We all gathered there on summer evenings. Our current house has no porch.
