I was hoping that you would get more responses because I'm in the same state of confusion. We don't have dogs, but live in a rural area with dust, dirt, snow & temperature extremes. I've had wood laminate for the past 13 years (Wilsonart from when it first came out). What I really want is tile; however we're in our 50's and I have concerns over how hard it will be as we get older. So I'm leaning toward the Duraceramic or back to laminate possibly in a tile look. A young neighbor with small children put in the real tile & said it's hard to walk on so she's wishing she did the Duraceramic. I'm a little hesitant on the laminate because what we have looks fake, more plasticy, plus, it's peaked at the seams from the initial installation. We get a lot of sunlight so every seam is very evident. Have you checked on the differing needs for underlayment? That might influence your decision.

I just wanted to share some install photos. We just finished a kitchen of One Sweet Talker. I love how it looks and I love the wider and longer planks. The customer service was again top notch. However, I hate that I have to say this but I feel like I need to share because I wish I'd known. This is our second house with Supercore and we love the company. We just finished the install Thurs. Sunday we had guests over. One of them must have had a rock stuck in their shoe or something. There's now a huge area of scratching. Almost a foot long. It's so disappointing. And I know that maybe other brands would be similar, but it just seems so soon and just under normal wear. 😕 I'll attach pictures in another comment to show how well they show up on this color.

@Jenny Medinger I hear you! I have agonized. Napa Dry Cork was actually one that I thought for sure I'd be installing. Def buy a box of whatever you are thinking of b/c the sample boards really don't give you enough of an idea. I spent $140 on a box and glad I did. The planks do look great -- it's a beautiful floor. But the light pieces were too grayish/yellowish for my house. I then decided to get a box of Napa Tannin since it looked warmer to me. But the dark planks were a little too dark for my house. So I decided that while I love both in other people's pics, I knew that having planks with that much variation were going to do it for me. I'm 99.95% sure I'm going with Coretec's Hayes Oak which is wider, with very low variation between planks. Again, even though boxes of unused LVP sucks to spend the $ on, it would suck worse to install something that you don't like once you see it in your home.

We want to put LVT throughout our first floor. (We live in Houston, and have a pool, and tile is too hard underfoot). The flooring company recommended Korlok. There are lots of reviews recommending SUPERCore. Another installer recommended AduraMax. I’ve read EVERYTHING I can find about all of them, and I’m still so unsure. Anyone have a good, honest recommendation?
