You've actually given two issues and made them one. Sure, they are very related but different just the same. The first is bein tired and your husband wants sex. The second, the first huddle to cross is his terrible judgement in trying to wake you up for it. That's just not right.. and I'm a mabn saying it. Back to the first problem. This does cut close to home for me which I understand. Everything I read about this says make a schedule.. or a date night if you will and follow through. The problem is following through with the plan. It sounds not like you're uninterested but that you're just plain tired. Work on solving that and hopefully everything will fall into place. It is a classic problem. You just need to talk... carefully without pointing fingers and a solution will be found. It's time your husband takes over for you one evening allowing you to just relax and recoop your spirits. He'll understand very quickly what you go through every day. Been there done that!

I don't think the Hopsack is so dark of a color that it wouldn't work well with the sculpture. Today at Dillards I saw a table scape that I thought was gorgeous and never would think of putting the colors together...the beige tone of your sofa with a soft gray...it didn't have the blueish gray tone mentioned above but was more of a true gray...I can see where yayagal is coming from with her suggestion.

I recall someone who characterized her style as French. She had a red fabric-covered board, I think, above her fireplace, a white painted frame sofa with a print or plaid, yellows, reds, and blues? Can't recall her name, but if you can give more details of your recollection of her room(s), maybe you'll jog someone's memory more.

Hi Lianne. May I ask what you ended up doing to solve your issue? I'm having the same trouble. Had I known about this code before designing and ordering, I would have gone against the designer and installed a backsplash area for the outlets but now it's too late. I DEFINATELY don't want to cut into my counters so am I searching all over the place for a solution. Does anyone have pics of this Sillite that was mentioned in this post? I'm stressing out and completely irritated because this is my first remodel and I wish I had known or been made aware of the code before we decided on this design plan. A backsplash is something my husband and I could have lived with but cutting into my counters will irritate me forever. If anyone has any suggestions - I'd be eternally grateful.
