Probably not ideally suited for your climate. They may be root hardy there but PA is hardly Corsica :-) Or Sardinia. They dislike winter wind and probably not all that happy with much of a snow pack. And they tend to bloom quite early - several months earlier than x hybridus in my climate - so flowering could be easily impacted negatively by cold. And I would consider this a full sun plant. Don't know how many other Mediterranean-type plants you grow in PA, but I would not think that a great climate for those sorts. Especially this past winter!

Hello everyone, I too have been experiencing all of the above and have spent countless hours and days worrying and scouring the internet for answers. I was overjoyed to stumble upon you all here and learn that I am not alone or losing my mind. A little info about me.... I am a 45 year old woman who started peri & menopause early!! I started at age 38/39 and had no clue what on earth was going on with me. The usual menopausal symptoms were downright awful but like the rest of you, I suffered through the whole time thinking “ok new symptom, dying again of some mysterious illness or I seriously need my head checked.” Fast forward.... I had my last menstrual cycle right after my 44th birthday (so over a year now) and I have to say the menopausal symptoms have lessened overall thankfully. Then SUDDENLY, about 2 months ago, just when I thought the worst was behind me, my body introduces to me, a new scary “oh no I’m dying again” symptom. THE ARMPIT ACHE!! I had just finished my routine physical, pap, mammogram, breast ultrasound, had bloodwork and urine tests done as well.... all came back normal. I was so relieved!!! However, my armpit ache started right after that, within a few days, which threw me for a loop. I thought ok maybe I strained a muscle working out?? Maybe I’m feeling after effects from the Mammogram “trauma”??? No clue and of course, panic starts to set in!! Over the course of 2 weeks, the ache in my armpit (right side for me) became an ache in the right shoulder, ache in my right breast and some days the ache even extended all the way down my right arm. It really is terrifying and consuming when you don’t know what’s going on or why and the Doctors can’t find anything either. So I started experimenting with different things to hopefully find a remedy or at least some peace of mind. Fast forward again..... long story short.... I accidentally stumbled upon a video on YouTube regarding Magnesium deficiency and it’s symptoms and I thought hmmmm, could it be my issue?? So I started taking Magnesium supplements and within 24 hours, my armpit ache started to disappear!! I have been taking the Magnesium faithfully every day for a few weeks now and I can say the ache is 95% gone and most days I don’t even remember having it at all. I don’t know if it’s merely a coincidence or if the magnesium really helped but I felt compelled to share my findings with you all in the hopes that it may help you as well. Side note, I had just started taking other supplements approx 2 weeks before the aching started so I thought perhaps they too may have been the culprit so I stopped taking them completely. (Calcium, Vitamin D, Vitamin C). 1 week later, I started Magnesium which I had never taken before!! Just to clarify. Together, we will get through this. Anita

Yeah... this can be a real pain.... I need the brass nipples in 1/4" increments. Lately though I've been using a little different method depending on which one will work better. If the longer nipple is going to leave you too far off, use a little extra teflon and dope on the shorter one and send it home. If the longer one will make it but you're going to have to muscle it in there, this means you're going to risk damaging your tile or stone trying to get that last 1/4 turn or so- Especially since most of the time they leave a gasket with an area for silicone caulk beneath and that thing ends up sliding out of place. So, what I began doing a little while back was for the truly tight ones, use some painters tape to hold that gasket in place while sending that thing home with whatever safe form of wrench or screwdriver your able to insert in the supply ell. (taping across the entire backside of the gasket wrapping around the ell.) This gasket now acts more like a friction gasket keeping your brass from scratching the surface while putting some real muscle in to get it where you want it. 'But Steve! The gasket is to put silicone beneath and makes everything water tight!!!' More times than not that damn thing slides out with that silicone and sticks out by the time you get it cranked in to place- you end up cutting it and caulking around the outside anyway. This way, it serves in a different manner, you trim the tape back with a sharp razor until it can't be seen, and silicone caulk around the outside making the tape a non issue, and a benefit if you ever have to pull it out since it will still be there to keep you from scratching the surface again. Just my approach. Like I tell all my apprentices/helpers- see how I do it and every other mechanic at this company, then you figure out what works best for you.

i hope i didn't offend anyone. I really liked breastfeeding, for me, it was the best way. But I was also young and healthy. I wasn't rushed back to work, nor did I have other stresses on me. The LaLeche League is a group of women who have successfully breast fed and hope to teach new mothers how to do it. There is certainly a place for formulas, if the mother can't or doesn't wish to breast feed. For example, if the mother and baby need to be separated. Plus it's the ONLY method that can involve the father in feedings. I thought it was great FOR ME AND MY KIDS. I remember the nurse telling me that Natural Childbirth is best, too, but as long as you bring a healthy baby into this world, it doesn't maytter how he/she got here. As long as your baby gets enough nutrition,that's all that really matters. On another topic, my MIL was strange in many ways, one of them was she didn't think breast feeding was good, too primitive, too animal, I don't know. Once I went to a restaurant with MLL and SIL (her daughter) with my first born. She was maybe three weeks old. I was wearing a nursing dress, very loose but with two slits in front, disguised with pleats. As we sat in a quiet dark booth, I started to nurse her. MIL looked shocked, said "That's disgusting, you better do that in the ladies room." I was embarassed, turned beet red, and ran in the bathroom. There was no special place to nurse, so I went in a booth and sat down, and locked the door. It smelled bad but I stayed and fed her, all the while crying. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. Since then, I have always seemed to look for evidence that "validates" my breast-feeding. Sorry about this, I just had to "get it off my chest". And isn't it typical that MILs and DILs don't get along?
