I tried to blame my severe dry eyes on menopause and the loss of estrogen, but my eye dr. just said he it happens in young women as well. It did go away after 6 months and hasnt come back. But I dont wear my contacts anymore either.

Wow, its been almost 2 years since I originally posted..( I am this thread creator, my name was Mtn-Grl) .My periods are still the same, one month its just 2-3 days, very light, just spotting, and then after 2 weeks I get the heavy one that lasts 14-20 days. Very unconvienient, I am soaking through very fast. So I got my insurance back, went to the doctor. He sent me to the specialist. Checked for fibroids, turns out, they're too small to operate, the doctor didn't think its necessary to remove them. He found something else. The very thick layer of my inner uterus lining. He said its abnormal and in few weeks I'll be going to the surgical center, so they can get samples of my uterus. It freaked me out. Especially after my doctor said he did not like it. And, although this is the different doctor, he says I am not in peri stage yet. I really don't get it. I have all the symptoms. Plus even more now - my skin itches all the time. ( I moisturize it and take good care of my skin) but it itches every now and then. All over my body, my shoulders, my calves, my back etc. And the panic attacks, they got worse, too. I am at work, talking to the customer, smiling and joking, friendly conversation and suddenly BAM, I feel tingling in my face and this weird feeling in my head like I am disconnected from the world around me. So I rub my forehead in embarrassment ( I have a feeling that people could see my fear ) drink a lot of water ( which I have with me at all times, it helps) and try to convince myself "Its just a stupid panic attack" Sometimes it goes away, sometimes it lasts longer. I am terrified of passing out and losing consciousness , it happened to me before - for no reason at all. SO I am always scared it will happen again. Sometimes I cannot take a deep breath, my stomach hurts and I have to run to the bathroom. And everything seems to be all right, my blood sugar, my blood pressure and heart rate. I would be really happy to know that I am entering perimenopause, then I could blame everything on it but the doctors say that's not it. Well, lets see what they say after they take my uterus samples. For now I just have to live with it. Trying to think positive :)

You know, when I first started reading your post, the first thing I thought of was sleep deprivation. It's amazing how much can be thrown off from not getting enough sleep. I know with a young one it is very hard, but I would make getting enough sleep a top priority.... no really, put down the book, turn off the tv and computer, forget about the dishes and go to bed. You may not believe how much your mood changes from getting more sleep. Make it a number one priority. The other thing that 'could' be partially at fault is the fact that you may not be feeling that sexy. Maybe you are still carrying some extra baby weight, and maybe haven't had time to really fix yourself up or even buy clothes that fit and look good on you. Spoil and pamper yourself a little (in between naps). You may feel a little more frisky if you feel better about yourself. Set up a date night with your husband. I really think and hope for your sake that it really is just a phase. Hopefully when the baby isn't so demanding you'll be able to get some more sleep. Is there anyone (your mother) etc. that may be able to help and take some stress off? Even if you have to pay for some help, it may really be worth it in the long run. Is your husband helping; could you be resenting him if he's not? And, I guess I don't really understand this.. but even if you are not in the mood at all, can't you just give in from time to time for your husband? I mean I really, really don't like hockey games, but I've been known to go to them when my husband couldn't find a friend. Sometimes we do things just for the other person even if we don't want to. Is it painful or just god awful, or are you just way too tired....
