Hi,

Read an old post that talked about facebook and a KT Group. How do you join this group? I followed the link in the old posting and click on requested to join group but nothing happened? It would be great to join such a group. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Where does the Kt Group Request go? Who decides if your accepted into the group. I am having a lot of fun there with family and friends. Thanks.

Email me through My Page, remind me of who you are here, and I will add you. Once you are with me, you can access the group through my page. That's one way to do it.

I love FB. I don't post much there. I like to see what's going on with friends and family. I have reconnected with people I haven't seen in 40 years. I considerate FB a place for lite chat. It is not a place to bare your soul. Just a place to make "small talk' and share pics, that sort of thing. I don't get the fear factor. It's not a site where any financial info goes nor do you have to post anything personal. Plus there are lots of ways to control your account for added security if you feel you must. I really see the irony that many who don't "trust" FB still will come to boards like these and give out all sorts of personal info,post pics of their children and talk about them etc. There is no way at all this site is protected. We can't even edit or remove our own posts here. Leaves me scratching my head.

Katlan, Fireman's wife left after some people here basically called her a liar. Some believed her story some didn't and were very rude to her about it. I don't know if the story was true or not but she had been here awhile before all that happened so I don't see any reason why she would have made it up. If I had been treated that way I would have left too. As a matter of fact I don't post here much or even read here like I used to because of some of the mean people who surfaced around that time. Fine if you don't believe what someone posts here but there is no need to be vicious about it. Just Scroll on by.

:) 60 Doesn't seem as old as I once thought, YL! We started at the same age 19 & 20, but we pretty much pulled the trigger in rapid succession.. so, now Holly has her masters, Liz is a para-pro and Sam... well, he's dangerously close to becoming a frog like his father. OAH - Who's cued Pandora to "Lou Reed & The Velvet Underground" since about 9:00 this morning. There's probably one glass of Pinot left in the bottle? Maybe not.

I did that from my tablet. Long press on a word you want to copy, brackets pop up. Slide the brackets to encompass the phrase, when it's all in all brackets look up at the top of the page and there should be an option to copy or it might pop up on the page, it depends on the Android version, tap copy and it saves the text. Come to the reply box and long press a blank space you should see paste pop up on the page click on paste, it will insert the text you copied into the box.

Another way to do this is to perhaps START A GROUP using that option at Facebook. I joined a KT group thinking it was this forum only to find out it was for people with the initials KT., lol. So I quickly removed myself from that group.

A fellow Kt'r here sent me a email and asked me to join...been so busy I haven't...I think I will do so now...and then I will come back here and read the insructions on joining the KT group...Stach
