Does anyone have Volga blue granite?
Comments (6)Your first post is still on page 1! Have you checked the Finished Kitchens Blog (FKB)? As mentioned in the "Read Me" thread, the FKB has pictures of finished kitchens. There is also an "FKB Categories" link on the right navigation panel that will take you to a page that lists things like cabinets (by manufacturer, color, style, etc.), countertop (by type and name), special features, etc. In the case of your question, there is a link for "Volga Blue". Click on it and will list all the kitchens in the FKB that have Volga Blue granite. As to posting pictures, that information is also in the "Read Me" thread. A friendly request: In the future, please bump the current thread rather than starting another one if it's the same question. Unlike most other forums, this Forum moves so quickly that we have a limited number of threads that we can keep active (approx 4 - 6 weeks worth). So, every new thread knocks off a fairly recent one. Thanks! Here is a link that might be useful: Read Me If You're New To GW Kitchens!...See MoreDoes anyone grow Hawaiian Sunset hybrid tea?
Comments (6)Yeah, I recently had to replace mine. I originally got it from Vintage Gardens many yrs ago. It was very slow growing. But I find that I don't plant bands in the ground right away any more. They seem to take forever to grow. It took like 4-5yrs to get a decent size, and just as it was beginning to get some good blooms, it up and died on me. I also lost another rose next to it a yr or so later, and I think it was the fact that I wasn't keeping track of my sprinklers. I think they just got dried out in that particular area due to the water spray missing them. Anyway, once it got going, it was quite lovely. It peaked out about 3ft. Didn't have much disease as I recall. The color range is pretty amazing, going from apricot to peach to pink and orange, and all sorts of blends in between. I just got my replacement last summer from RVR, but it hasn't bloomed yet. Here's pics of the old plant's blooms over a few yrs:...See MoreDoes anyone have the oriental style shrike green area rug?
Comments (11)Holly, I do not have a picture. My things are in storage until I move into my new place in about 5-6 weeks. But I did use it in the bathroom for a while. Patricia is right about polypropylene rugs looking cheap. You can tell the pattern is printed on but I didn't want a good one for the bathroom. In my new place it will go outdoors on the porch. The railing and outdoor carpeting is brown, a color I loathe, and I eventually want to paint the house a pistacho green with forest green shutters and trim. The porch railings will be forest green so a temporary solution until I can afford to do all that painting is having this rug over the brown carpeting. (Painting the door emerald will be nice too.) The cost was so low on sale, about $35, that I don't mind that it will probably fade and certainly wear out. I will replace it when that happens. Just know that because it is polypropylene and inexpensive it is never going to feel like a good wool rug. But buy padding and it will help the "feel" of it on your mama's feet....See MoreDoes anyone have any suggestions on a perfect gray/green exterior?
Comments (4)Good lookin' house. Nantucket Gray HC-111 is one of my favorite exterior colors. I know everyone knows this by now, but you can't judge colors by the way they show up on your device. Every device/computer displays colors differently. Definitely get a sample from Benjamin Moore and test it out side....See Moretonig
