The events usually are on Saturdays, and include everything from Herb classes, to potting classes. Some with reservations, some without. He had a breakfast thing in June, July, and August. Open gardens were open for 3 days in July - and also coincided with the garden tours outside of Mercer for Victorian Weekend. Also there is an evening in the garden in July. Customer Appreciation day is do die for! Upcoming event is the 29th of this month. Fall clean-up and maintenance and garden tour. I love it because it's one more chance to see all the gardens and grab your last fix for the season! No reservations for this one. Cottage Gardens is also loaded earlier in the season. Think about if you want to do any small tours and trades when you come up. I'll be glad to set up something. There is also a smaller place around the corner from me that does mostly annuals, but the setting is nice to see. Also a local herb farm, which I've yet to see. I believe they are having a small fest this weekend.

I saw it over at the CF and had to try it. I made mine with fresh peaches and it was so good. DS asked where it all went because it was gone in less than 2 days! LOL He said next time make it with the new apples that are just coming in. Or maybe I will use small individual tart pans and make them with all kinds of different fruit. Clare

abby221, we thought of going to see Promises Promises, how was it? There was just so many shows to pick from it was hard to decide. georgymom, the only museum we walked into was the museum of sex, but didn't pay the fee to actually go in the back, we just browsed around the front of the place where they were selling t-shirts, books and other stuff. We kept saying we should go here and here, but never enough time to do everything. I think we needed a month or so there to take everything in. Saw Macy's but never made it in. We also went to Ground Zero, and took a ferry to Staten Island to see the Statue of Liberty. Applied to see the David Letterman Show, but never got the call back and went to Rockerfeller Center but never early enough to see the Today Show. I think a trip back is needed.
