First if you can delete one of the posts duplicates are always a PITA. As for what to use is that the bedding oyur are going with? IMO that oversized cahir does not work in the space . Maybe some better pictures of the whole room I see very modern in your idea books and not in this space you show so more info and better pictures .

Hi everyone - need suggestions on how to dress these windows in my bedroom. I need blackout window treatments otherwise I won't be able to sleep. From trim to trim is about 117 inches. My current thoughts are: 1) 4 sets of curtains. Do I have enough clearance in between the windows or will it look too bulky? 2) 2 wide curtains. Not alot of options for wide curtains. Is it too much if I do two 100" curtains? Worried it'll be too bulky. 3) If I ditch the curtains.. Any other way to get blackout but still have it look nice? Thank you.

With baseboard heating I would suggest roman shades. They are supposed to stop at the sill, so won't look odd that length. DH is right, stopping them above the baseboard heating will look strange. There is a lot of variety in roman shades, they don't have to look cold and modern. Hang them as high as you can (based on the window on the far left) so when they're open you get a full window view. I have some pictures saved of living rooms with less modern looking shades. You haven't said what you have chosen for bed linens - start there and don't be afraid to use some pattern in the window treatments if everything else is plain.
