Buehl, The pull without the swing with just the smaller type birdcage is what I was not thrilled about. They're ok but not what I am looking for. I want something that can balance the birdcage, yet is very different than the birdcage, not a cookie cutter match, if that makes sense. Although, if I cannot find anything, I think I will use birdcage throughout. Thingsthatinspire blog has picture of a kitchen with those knobs throughout and it is beautiful. But still looking for something different.

I haven't chosen any of the hardware yet, so I am open to suggestions. But these are pretty cheapo 1980's cabinets, not as nice as any posted here :) The first picture posted is very nice, but those shaker cabinets have more to them than ours. I don't want a very modern look, I like it in other people's kitchens but it's not what fits in my house. Here's the kitchen shortly after we moved in - the paint job the PO did on the cabinets is horrible and needs to be stripped and re-done. The countertops are now concrete, the dishwasher is a new white one, and I'm putting in white subway tile backsplash... so lots of white I love a bright kitchen. Our home is decorated in traditional-transitional style.

This is where I ordered my pulls from ( not birdcage) and I know several others here used them and were pleased. Customer service and price were superb. I was hesitant because the price was so much lower that I ordered one from them and one from another vendor at like 4 times the price.
