Well, I doubt that the answer is non-Rx meds, but ya_think's response did make me chuckle (which, unfortunately, is painful at the moment.) Creek_side, your post made my foggy brain recall another comment having to do with the high heat "tempering" the metal, thus making it stronger. I will definitely run the cleaning cycle soon after installation. Here's hoping for the best.

Justgotabeme: Yes, that was me! And, yes, even Tamara thought it was very strange that I could post and be recognized on my laptop, but not on my desktop, smart phone or Ipad. No way would I put it next to the laundry. Bad spot. The other spot is better. BUT, you also have a lot of space dedicated to a space wasting sink crammed into that corner where it will be awkward to use. I'd rethink using such a large sink in such a small space. And I'd rethink the peninsula as well. There isn't any room for any seating at it, and all it really does is get in your way. I'd also rethink the wall oven and cooktop entirely. This is a kitchen that would benefit greatly from a range, not separate components. And the secondary sink would be better located on that counter run across from the fridge where you have the secondary choice for the oven location. That would be convenient for the laundry as well as giving you a second prep location for another person in the kitchen and you would be able to separate prep from cleanup then.
