More Bleeding?

I used to have a period every 28 days like clockwork. Very painful but always on time. For about the last 9 months or so, I have been bleeding in between periods, some times for days, sometimes for a week or more. My last cycles have only been 21-24 days. I am 42 and my doc says I am to young for Menopause but did refer me to a Gyno. Are these symptoms of menopause? Just curious what you guys thought.

Im doing the same thing. (age 44) Ive been told that is a pre menopausal thing. Your body starting to ditch the eggs it doesn't think you will need anymore. Several of my friends are going thru it also, and the Gyn's always say the same thing "your to young". Obviously not! They will put you on the pill and try to regulate it. Stinks doesn't it? Can't wait for it to really hit!

Just as women start to menstruate at different ages, so too, they begin menopause at different ages. Also, menopause is not something that jumps at you one day. It is a very gradual process of declining hormone production the reverse of what happened at puberty. We did not one day wake up with hairy legs and armpits, breasts and a period .... it was a gradual progression that started years before the first menses. The symptoms vary from woman to woman and their ability to cope varies as well. Some women are also more in tune to their bodies than others and some are more sensitive to hormonal fluctuations. I've been keeping a log of my symptoms for a couple of years and its interesting to see how it has become progressively more erratic.

Thanks Bressler, I'm really sorry to hear that. I'm guessing my tree has the same condition as yours because I'm in the Austin area as well, and I purchased my Canby oak from a well known nursery in Austin that had only within a week received the tree from a less well known nursery/grower in the Hill Country. Your tree in 2014 I'm guessing may have came from that same grower, given the proximity and limited availability of Canby oaks. After researching further, and hearing how your Canby didn't seem to be able to recover, I’m wondering if the problem might actually be a bleeding canker rather than bacterial wetwood. And in particular a bleeding canker caused by a fungus-like pathogen called Phytophthora. This is rather disturbing that a grower might possibly have been distributing similarly infected trees for several years. I sure hope not. I'm going to try to have my tree tested for Phytophthora since there may need to be some sort of soil decontamination done. Thanks too for the tip about the Mexican sugar maple.

I am limited to deer-resistant plants, it looks like you don't have that problem based on the plants you alread have. I have liriope which is beautiful, brunnerra jack frost, many astilbe, bleeding hearts ( both dicentra and excima). I fell in love with the shrub leucothea at someone else's house but in my yard it's only doing so-so, I plan on watering it more often and mid-winter to see if that helps. My drawf mountain laurel is thriving, as well as my rhododendrons and azaleas but they need deer repellant spray often. Japanese painted fern and all the other ferns are beautiful, Christmas fern can take dry soil. Hostas are popular but I find them too common, nothing unique about them. Good luck!

I just bought a bleeding heart root from wal mart, it had started sending out some fresh roots in the package on one of the roots (it was a 2 root pack) but the second one wasnt sending out any nice white roots yet. i set them in a tub of water for overnight then planted them with the long root looking things down. ill keep this updated to let everyone know how they turn out. they are in a container so if they dont start doing anything within a week or so ill dig around see if anything is happening under the soil.

Since they're going to go with a different slab, I'd see if they can find a 2cm piece to get you a thinner backsplash. It'll take up less visual and actual space and make cleaning behind your faucet knobs easier. For what it's worth, it doesn't seem from the picture like they matched the veining in the original fabrication and install so switching to another slab isn't likely to result in too much of a difference since you're going back to the same supplier.

well about 4 years ago I started that. The dr ran all kinds of tests,couldnt find anything.we discussed hysterectomy she said If I want shell do it. well we did she said its good we did I had 5 things wrong would have been serious if left go. so I wonder how good these tests are they do.Im 47 now
