White trim or wood trim? (pictures included!)

Hi there!

I'm fairly new to this forum. DH and I are building a house this spring and I am trying to make all of my design choices early. Our house will be post and beam (with flared cedar logs). In the kitchen, I'd like to contrast the rustic nature of the logs with a bit of elegance.

In a nutshell: White shaker cabinets, glass knobs, chrome bridge faucet, chrome pulls, ceasarstone nougat counter-tops, white beveled arabesque backsplash, charcoal island with glass chandelier, medium tone wide plank wood floors.

My issue is the trim around the window in the kitchen. The whole main floor will have vertical grain douglas fir trim (wood clad windows, baseboard, etc). I'm feeling like the kitchen window should be all white as to not be the focal point. Am I wrong? Can you mix window trim colours within the same area? Do you see any issues with my other choices?

Here's our main floor layout. Our kitchen window is 6' wide.
