Remove wire. The nursery told me not to remove it. I asked why not. The answer was "So if in case it dies, it will be easy for us to remove." Then they even scared me that if I remove the wire and the burlap, and it dies, they won't replace it. So right after the people who installed the honeylocust tree left, I removed the dirt and used my dremel tool to cut the wires. The I also removed the burlap. This was year 2007. This month when I was building my patio, I was so shocked with what I saw. I was removing the dirt and about 15 ft away from trunk of the honeylocust, I saw a yellowish/beige root about 1/4 inch in diameter. I followed it and at about 7 ft from the honeylocust's main trunk, the diameter was 1 inch. Unfortunately, I had to cut it since it was affecting my patio project. I cut it as close as 18 inches. I still saw many roots as I went along with the project. I did the about a month ago. I'm lucky that the honeylocust tree is still fine. It might stunt the growth next year. So yeah, remove the wire and the burlap.

I have tried baking soda with little effect a mix of ascorbic acid and water may also help a little. The mildew happens rapidly and once you see a single yellow leaf, it has begun. I spray with a fungicide called Serenade, which works quite well. Its done every 7 days during the bearing of the cukes. Bees love the blossoms and I usually have many bees busy all day long. I go out and pick at sunrise as its a little cooler and easy to find them on a vertical trellis. The honey bees must be local as they are busy all day and the area sounds like a huge bee hive. Angc, try googling for a cream sans sunscreen, or check Amazon. Hope you find it! Okay, the cream came today. Around 2pm I put it on. I wasn't sure about it at first because it does the same as my powder. I didn't have to use any under eye concealer which was great. Very silky feel on face. About an hour later I crawled into bed from exhaustion from the past week. An hour after I got up I looked in the mirror, and it was still fresh looking! Combined with the RoC treatment I've been using the past week, my face looks better than ever. All of it is inexpensive which makes it even sweeter. :)

Dee, my blood levels are good. Doctor cut my meds in half and said I may go med free soon. And I've been eating sugar during this time, but not a lot. I've been this way since my hysterectomy. Plus I hear menopause zaps women's energy, and it's a normal thing that effects a lot of women my age. It's the biggest complaint I hear from my friends as they age, lack of energy. This morning when I was taking Christmas decorations down I had TV on Kathie Lee and Hoda. Hoda started talking about how she takes her B vitamin and gets a lot of energy, and she gave KL one too, and KL said she got a boost of energy too. Hoda was practically swearing by B12! lol I wish Hoda said what strength and how ofetn she takes it! Since B's are water soluable and don't build up, I'm going to stick to two a day. Vitamins that aren't water soluble like "A" will literally kill you if you take too much. I need to get my nutrition book from college out and go over it again. I made an A in that class. Now I've forgotten everything! lol
