I'm right there with you, Alisande (Susan). 4th place for the month; that's the best ever for me. I usually have a win or 2 for the month but just when the leaders (Speed demons) get one wrong and I guess correctly. There are usually a few days when in my haste I miss a question I should know. It's a head slap moment. It amazes me when there is a really obscure question and some people still know the answer. Example: What Australian city won the world cup of rugby in 1998? Really?

Ron, I suspect no one knows the answer to those obscure international sports questions . . . we just have some good guessers.

And am I the only one who has answered the same question incorrectly multiple times? If I come upon one, I'm aware that it has been a problem for me in the past, but then I still choose the wrong answer. (Slap both sides of head.)

I think if someone could be in the top 10 every day, they'd win for the month even if they never took first place for any of the days. I'm definitely not the fastest player as you can see by my 'one win' for the month. lol The more everyone plays, the faster everybody gets.

Alisande, there's some questions I consistently get wrong.. usually easy ones too. I always say "Model A" to the car question when I should know by now the answer is "Model T". Argh! I'll laugh if that is one of the questions today!

Who's Slushy?? He/she has had some really fast speeds lately.

I'm one that consistently answer the same question wrong and am absolutely no good on sports, movies,since I don't watch movies,or most music.

My computer is so slow that sometimes it takes 15 to 20 seconds just for the page to load before I can begin answering questions.

I still don't understand how people answer those questions in 30 seconds or less.

Sometimes if I'm lucky I end up in the top 10. But my percentage is way lower than anyone elses. I guess by just playing every day (and guessing right sometimes) helps.

Sleeperblues, many times the questions have been asked before so it's easy to answer quickly, but I don't know how people can consistently do them in 30-40 seconds every day. Wish I knew! I do try to look back over the ones I miss so I can try to remember the answer if the question comes up again. But answering 10 questions with 4 possible answers each can be difficult, to say the least.

I'm really addicted to that frustrating game, darn it!

I have also answered the same question wrong numerous times. I think, "Why do I do this to myself?" But, everyday I'm back playing again.

I rarely know the sports questions, especially car racing, soccer/rugby or football. But I am a good guesser or just lucky. Here's a tip.....if you absoultely don't know the answer just click the first one and keep on going. You'll get a faster time than if you ponder over a question you don't know and more times than not the 1st answer is the right one!

I'm a quick reader, that helps with my fast times, but I also have very fast internet. Look out when we get Fibre Op in a few months! LOL

I'm a quick reader with fast Internet, too, but my trivia times were a lot slower until Casey pointed out that it helps to use the mouse's scroll wheel. Thanks, Casey!

Can someone explain how this works? Evidently I missed the information and it sounds like fun.

I enjoy the game as well...NEVER will I be fast,,heaven knows...but the challenge is exciting.. and yes it is good guessing more often than not.

PumpToad, here's a link to the game. Casey set it up for us some time back. All the players are from the KT, although not all the names are identical to our KT screen names. Most of us play every day. The quiz consists of 10 questions, and it's timed. The Standings page shows how people did on a given day, and at the end of each month the top scorers are listed in the Hall of Fame. I hope you'll join us!
