I'm currently trying out a trial of Garden Boss. It's actually $40 to purchase, which I think is a little steep, but I do like some of the features. It allows you to set your frost dates, enter data for plants you plant (or use templates provided with the program) and it spits out a calendar that tells you when to sow seed, transplant into the garden, begin harvesting and clear out the square to plant a new plant. It also has a square grid to help you plan you sfg. It does have limitations though. I'd like to be able to add to the calendar things like feed the azaleas, prune the clematis, etc., and there's no way to do that. Perhaps because those aren't sfg-related chores... and the monthly calendar is a little hard to read. You can download it free and try it for 30 days, then you have to pay... I've included a link to a download site below. I was curious about the Garden Manager program, but frankly didn't want the hassle of asking for a refund if it turned out to be not useful for me... I buy 4gig Kingston thumb drives at Big Lots all the time for $12. They are really not very expensive. Most all places that sell electronics will have them including walmart. A 4 gig is a nice size will hold quite a bit. I think you may want to buy locally and avoid shipping costs. Good brands are Kingston, Sandisk, Lacie,corsair. here is a sample search for them on Buy.com which is an online store I often buy from. Results Within Our Stores the one thing some do not know about using them is that when you want to remove it from your usb port on the pc you must first click down in the tray by the clock on the icon for safely remove and wait till it says it is safe to remove it from the usb port so as not to damage anything. thanks everybody for your input. i installed super anti-spyware, updated it, and did a whole computer scan that resulted in no malware. thus, i disabled link scanner, resident shield, automatic update manager, and the e-mail scanner in AVG 8.0 and noticed a marked difference in the speed of the computer. i tried letting resident shield be active, but that still caused my computer to run rather slowly. it seems that the new AVG is quite a bit of trouble with its functions are inferring with spybot s&d and spyware blaster. as of now, only the anti-virus; anti-spyware, and the license components of AVG are 'active' on my computer; therefore, my questions become: is it necessary to have AVG running from start-up? since i've disabled the resident shield, will having AVG running in the background provide me with some automatic, subtle protection? i currently have win patrol, zone alarm (and AVG) running in the background. should i have super anti-spyware running in the background as well? thanks for all your input.

I'm having trouble also. The back button is greyed out and the page layout is changed trying to sell products and services. I do not use Houzz except for Garden Web and suddenly I'm dealing with Houzz. Any keyboard moves to replace the back button which is greyed out? Any way to get back to the original layout? I use Firefox on Win 10. Jane
