Penney's usually offers free shipping at least once a month. They offered it at the beginning of Feb so I'm waiting and hoping they offer it again in beginning of March

I just was going to order some Supreme drapes online and went in again to the store to check the color I wanted. JcPenney is having a big 2 day sale with coupons up to $20 off $100. They had the Supreme drapes buy 1 regular price get 1 for a $1. I ordered 6 pairs of drapes that would have been around $400 with 20% off online but I ordered them in the store with free shipping to the store for $260(they took off 3 $20 off my order). Check the store to see if it's cheaper than buying online. Good luck!

I was going to mention I had seen a $49 also. I honestly don't buy much from Penneys. No Okley, I have to say while it would be easy to go whole hog, I have a different approach. When we built, we of course were going through the process for months. There were some things I knew what I wanted and could buy ahead, such as wicker furniture. But I'm one to wait and decide exactly what I want and take my time and wait till I find it. I'm not one who must have everything finished immediately (decorated). I'm also not one to *settle* but wait till I find exactly what I have in mind. Some things i could see in my mind, but for the most part, I like to wait till the room is pretty well in place, painted, etc. to see what would really work in the room(s). Also, that was 11 years ago, I didn't do as much on-line shopping then. But, for my house, there are many things that I want to actually see, touch, etc. before buying. I am guilty of price comparing on-line. tina

With the current retail environment, Clare, if you wait a little bit I think you may find the rugs going on sale yet again. But you're right, with/without free shipping it could be a wash.
