What 'location', if any, do you see at the link below? It is a google search page. Do you see Your location: Maryland 21231?

I see "Your location: Charlottesville, VA 22904" -- but that's not where I live.

I have seen ones in the same size pot for at the most $24.99 but have always waited until they were half price in June to buy. Average price seems to be about $15. The most I paid this year was $16.99 at Donahues this spring. We have good sales here and I have found them at a local nursery for $4.99 and last fall got several of the same variety for $1 each at Home Depot which I shared with a couple of friends and took two to our MN GW spring swap. The cheapest I have found were very tiny ones for 25cents at Walmart one late summer day a few years back. With over 30 clematis I have most of the common ones in our area so will have to start buying through the mail to find the ones I want.

Just curious, what do people still have in bloom?

Hey! I've got some fall crocus in bloom! I noticed them blooming yesterday. Earlier in the week, I raked out this area, which was just absolutely matted with leaves. I raked up some dead purple petals from the crocus, but some still lay flat on the ground and didn't rake up. I figured, oh, they're dead, but they're just still firmly attached. Well, it seems they revived and stood back up and decided to open up! There's only about 4 blooms, not a big deal, but a nice surprise. I am a bit concerned as I see about a dozen little nubbins poking up through the ground around these crocus, and I wonder if these are more trying to come up now. If so, I hope they don't get damaged when they inevitably get hit by the cold. :) Dee

I've been the victim of three crimes - all preventable. 1.) Being assaulted by a man while walking with a friend down a dark street to an unlit parking lot after Fiesta in San Antonio around 2am. I was 19 and clueless. We were more mentally harmed than physically. 2.) My brand new '98 Thunderbird was broken into while parked on the street in front of my house. It was locked but I should have parked in the driveway and not under the shadow of a large tree to the side of the house. 3.) My sister and I were at a salon in a mall and I was getting my hair cut while she was waiting. A guy with a backpack sat next to her and secretly fished her wallet out of her purse. I had just paid her a few hundred dollars because she was going to stay with me for the summer, babysitting my son. Of course her purse was on the floor, totally laid open with her wallet in plain site. The things I do to keep myself safe: -keep all doors locked all the time - security system - keep lights on in the house (even at night) and have motion sensor flood lights on the exterior - big dog who is encouraged to bark - TV stays on when not at home - reporting suspicious activity - being aware of my surroundings and not putting myself in precarious situations

I was just curious if you saw what I had filled in "Maryland 21231" or if you would each see your own location that you either filled in or that Google maybe picked up/assumed, or something from an IP addy.

Yes, I know, but don't really care. I just thought I'd spoof it a bit with a different location every now and then...just for fun.

Yes, I've tried some others but just don't care for their format as well as Google.

They found me! They found me!! What I find so strange, I guess, is how when I'm just surfing the web, products that I have looked at keep popping up.....doesn't bother me, but funny sometimes.

Mine had my county listed and the search was for the peonies.
If you are on a device that has location software and google maps it can be extremely specific locating you. You can turn it off.

I got something about peonies, also - thought that it was "ponies" at first - but my old eyes aren't in the best of shape.

Google isn`t my home page, and I don`t use it much.

I got Pittsford, NY 14534 and yellow peonies. Town a few miles further than the usual one that comes up for me. The usual one must be based on my phone number. Neither is where I live.
