Sorry about the bad cell phone picture. Guilty pleasure night = bad horror movies while making paper crafts. :) It's a 65". I'm trying to convince DH we can put a smaller one there.

lol....I'm right behind you Jodi!!

Jasdip, I just have a cheap inside antenna. Some of my friends in the county pick up more stations than I do. I also can't pick up our local ctv station in my living room which I find strange but when I had a television in the bedroom I used to be able to get it a 5 am. I got rid of cable in 2004, my neighbour bought me the analog box and the antenna years before the stations changed and set it up for me. I couldn't believe the all the new stations that appeared. I am in a good location. I am always scanning for new stations. I get better reception and more stations than some of the people i know who are paying for cable or digital and they don't get any of the local Detroit stations. I just think of all that money I didn't give to the cable company haha it now goes to Bell for my internet

Thanks Lars! My house is 1150 sq feet so I've found it really difficult to decorate with size appropriate furniture. So much seems to be designed for bigger homes, most homes in my area are in the 3000+ sq foot range. My friends all have lots of decor and tchotchkes, and while I like that look I've found simple works better in my limited space. Its really hard to edit down decor, but it makes cleaning my house much easier! I bought the grandfather clock when I was in my 20s and I've been in love with it ever since. My house fortunately has a full basement which was unfinished when I bought it, so my husband and I finished it ourselves. BTW, even though my user name looks like it, I'm not actually a Mr :) Anyhow, a couple years ago we built a dirt cheap budget theater down there, and since it does include a tv, I'll add a photo of that as well. The tv can be a mirror of the screen, or work independently. It's a 42" wall mounted plasma tv, an Ikea besta cabinet holding a receiver, roku, tv tuner, blu ray, and misc electronics. The screen is 10 foot diagonal, and is just flat paint and wood molding directly on the drywall. There are 7 speakers and a subwoofer hidden throughout the room, and 4 power leather recliners.
