LG glass door front loader-kinda a review
Comments (1)Sounds like a great concept with serious water conservation. It is the reliability and aftermarket service that would concern me, although our purchase last year of a new LG refrigerator has panned out well. Best of luck with your new machine....See MoreSamsung front loader won't spin error message 'nd'
Comments (2)Don't know if it affects drainage but did you check the screens on your intake hoses? Could there be sand etc. blocking the flow of water affecting the draining in mid cycle. Do you have the hoses that shut off if they detect water leakage? Apparently they will not work if you turn them on too fast. I ask this because in some cycles the machine is draining and spraying water at the same time. Maybe it has to sense both the inflow and outflow to rinse and spin? Unless you have been doing some kind of home adjustments, call the Samsung number that is inside the unit. Maybe they can give you an easy fix. Also, isn't it under warranty? Hope you get your machine up and running with a minimal of fuss....See MoreFront vs. top loader - the eternal question
Comments (29)I HIGHLY recommend the F&P washer. I have had mine for six years with not a problem. I had never heard of this brand and did not do careful shopping. The appliance saleslady had one and was sold on them (hers is still going strong- older than mine). I had intended on getting a FL as that was the new hot thing at the time....Bosch in particular. This is why I love my F&P: I never have any mildew smells of mold problems ( lid up or down). My wash smells CLEAN. I can soak really soiled clothes for as long as I want. Really extracts the water during the spin cycle and then requires very short dryer cycle. Variety of cycles that really work. Can choose between eco cycles and traditional wash. Very versatile Takes a large load. I came close to making a big mistake and buying a FL. For me that would not have worked. I don't want the door hanging open all the time when I walk into the room. I don't want any chance of MILDEW in the washer. Detergent is not a problem with this washer. Definite energy saver!...See MoreLG glass door front loader-kinda a review
Comments (4)I use color catchers in my Bosch front loader and they work great. I don't use them all the time, just when I wash fairly new clothes. It's amazing how much color they can catch. Sometimes I throw in just half a sheet when I don't expect much color bleeding and it still turns slightly blue or gray. Color transfers are a bigger issue in front loaders since they use so little water that the colors are pretty concentrated. It's not always practical to separate all loads by colors and the color catchers are a great solution!...See Moreasolo
