Thanks again for the kind wishes. I had a pleasant day, and made lemon Risotto, a zucchini and cherry tomato salad, caramelized mushrooms with shallots and Ann T.'s chocolate strawberry shortcake for desert. Actually, I did celebrate all weekend, and dear Jerry made me a wonderful dinner of porcini mushroom risotto, asparagus with sweet red onion-lemon vinaigrette, a wonderful mixed salad and for desert, and chocolate cake and Blue Bell ice cream. What more can a girl ask for! Oh, fine company with his cousins, that's what. We spent a few days up in Tahlequah, and just got back tonight. We did a little work on the house, but mostly visited with friends and watched hummingbirds fight with each other over the flowers. Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts and birthday wishes. Sally

Anele...with all you have going on I am so pleased you found this thread and sent your wishes. Thank you ! DH is a special guy. Thank you, thank you, everyone. I'm having a quiet day. DH has to work tonight, so I'll be hanging out at home enjoying our wonderfully cool weather. Amazingly, it's been in the 70's today, damp and a bit rainy. For Texas in August, that's just unheard of, but it's quite a relief after all the 100 degree days we've had.

Oh, and I do plan on eating some chocolate tonight! lol!
