Landscape lights won't work

I have plenty of landscape lights around the yard, all connected to one switch. A bunch went out so I changed the bulbs. Only a few decided to light back up even after changing the bulb. Anyone have clues on how to fix that? Could the wiring be bad, could the lamp/light have broken? any help would be appreciated.

Landscape light sockets take a lot of water abuse and sometimes don't make good contact with the lamp connections. Designs of newer better quality fixtures may have glass shields to protect the socket & lamp. Landscape lighting installers often do yearly maintenance on fixtures replacing lamps, applying a corrosion inhibitor and also replacing sockets when required.

Gardeners may accidentally cut underground cables.

I think it might be that the connector to the horn has come off (this is not that unusual). If the interior lights are connected in series with the horn, they would go as well. The horn connector is found sometimes in the horn pad, or in the dash just under the instruments, or within the steering column cover.

Hey, sorry for the delay. For the life of me I could not remember my password-so many of the dang things! And when I did I wasn't able to log on. It turn out the battery was totally dead. That's it. My son left the dome light on for over 18 hours. My husband hooked it up to a battery charger for a few hours and then took it out for a very long ride to recharge it and it has been fine. I still do not know how or why the dash stayed lit but car has been no trouble since the recharge.

Thank you. Doing what you suggested and finding the manual in my highly efficient filing system gave me a few more ideas that finally worked. It seems that some of the new energy efficient light bulbs have a non standard base that will thread into the sockets but never make contact.
