Satin Nickel Bar pulls - moderately priced
Comments (4)I have several samples from Top Knobs and they are a good quality ... nice feel, smooth finish, etc. I have seen that "Hopewell" style at many different places. Home Depot has a version (though it may just be in stainless steel), as does Restoration Hardware. They come in a variety of sizes. I recently ordered some samples from Berenson Hardware (ordered through Amazon) and I will likely go with that brand (Aspire collection). They have lots of styles that come in a variety of sizes, and their brushed nickel finish is very pretty and goes great with my stainless appliances. Samples arrived quickly in the mail....See Moresatin nickel or weathered nickel pulls/knobs
Comments (2)I have weathered nickel because the pulls were ultra cheap (99 cents for amerock pulls). I haven't mounted them yet but I was checking positioning today and they look pretty good on my oak cabinets. If I had white painted cabinets, I think I'd go with the cleaner look of the satin nickel. I probably would have for ours but I couldn't pass up 99 cent pulls (normally around $5 I think)....See MoreMixing finishes - Stainless vs satin nickel vs brushed steel
Comments (5)Our sink fixtures are a mix of satin nickel and brushed SS and they look fine together. Our lights are pewter. Our drawer pulls and door knobs are antique iron. Our pantry door hardware is brushed nickel. They all look fine together. My personal preference is to have hardware and fixtures in the same color "family" - usually broken down into "silver" or "gold". However, you can mix them up if you're careful bow you do it....See MoreKitchen hardware help - Polished brass or Satin nickel drawer pulls??
Comments (21)@Kristin S, not sure but I can certainly ask. I really need a middle ground between the Polished Brass and Satin Nickel. The Polished Brass seems too gold for me and the satinnickel slightly too muted. Hard to tell but is the Top Bronze kind of in between? Going to go online and see the difference. At the end of the day, the pulls are so subtle so maybe I should stop belabouring on this point and I guess I could always just change them out after the fact (although my husband would kill me!!) ... LOL. Thanks!!...See MoreUser
