red lover, I bought the blancowave sink in the link for my pending remodel. Got a deal on ebay, so went ahead and bought it. After just looking at it lying there in the box for a few weeks whispering to me how much I would like to be using it, I finally caved and jerry-rigged an installation in the non-remodeled kitchen over the weekend. (It is an undermount sink, I have laminate counters, it is supposed to need a 42" sink base, I have 36 inches, the hole in the counter for the existing sink was totally the wrong size and shape, blah blah whatever. watch me make it work anyway). So far, I love it. The large side is big enough to hold my largest baking sheet, roasting pan, or largest skillet with handle; the small side is still big enough for a colander or stockpot. I have and Jack and Jill and love it. We have one long vanity and one sink. My kids were teenagers when we built our house. One boy, one girl. They were NEVER in the bathroom at the same time. A single sink in a long vanity was never a problem. I think they enjoyed the counter and drawer space more than a sink they only used for a few minutes. You won't regret your J&J. Now our guests love it! Very private for them.

Aaron- Here is a useful explanation from Fine Homebuilding of what I was talking about in my comment above: Avoid shadows at the mirror Vanity lighting is the most important task lighting and can make or break your bathroom experience. A light, or row of lights, above the mirror to light your face creates shadows under your eyes, cheekbones, nose, and chin that make you look tired, heavier, and older. Cross illumination is much more flattering. By placing vertical lights at eye level on both sides of the face, you eliminate shadows. Generally, use lights with some sort of shielding here, whether it’s frosted glass, acrylic fabric, or some other material. Especially if it’s a fluorescent bulb, this softens the light and adds warmth.

Put some cash in your pocket and head over to a local stone fabricator. They've got a few mistakes leaning against the wall, believe me. If you aren't too fussy about color/particulate/movement, you can save a ton of money converting their screw-ups into cash.
