Do you dim your undercabinet lights?

How often do you use a dimmer for undercabinet lighting?

We will have recessed cans for task lighting, so strip lighting is not our only source of light. We want the glow that comes from undercabinet lighting, and we probably will leave these lights on much of the time, both when we are working at the counters and as ambient lighting when we are in the adjoining family room.

Using the Seagull system, we plan to use 10-watt bulbs with 4" spacing. I assume this is bright enough for working at the counter. Is it so bright, however, that we will need a dimmer?

I don't want to be stuck with lights that are too bright, but if dimming is not really necessary, then I would prefer to avoid the expense and hassle of intalling these extra dimmers. We will have dimmers on our overhead lights.
